A Woman's Worth

A Woman's Worth

She was grinning from ear to ear as she socialized with them and brought out the gifts she prepared as well. “Mommy, did you have fun with Daddy?” “Mwommy, awe we havwing a shibying shoon?” TBC Maple Writes (Had to research this one before anything else. Spanish is something I know nothing about except welcome and excuse me so if there are things that are not correct, do tell me about it and I will gladly improve. The dialogues used are machine-translated, so forgive me if there are errors. Don't forget to leave a comment, share and give me reviews for me to know if there are things that I should improve with and change at the same time. Have a good day. Enjoy reading.)

TILL DEATH DO US PART.

TILL DEATH DO US PART.

It was for my Princess. "Wonderful." I got out of the car and went over to her side to help her out. She kept smiling throughout until we got inside. She exploded. "All For My Princess" was written on the wall with the cute unaware pictures I'd taken of her at work, therapy, anytime I'd seen her. "Cariño! Esto es tan lindo. Oh, Dios mío (This is so cute. Oh, my gawd.) I'm going to cry." Her last words were the only things I understood. I must start learning Spanish, I guess.

It's not everytime we get books like this, it shouldn't always be about smut all the time. I love this book because it captures and reflect on how everything is supposed to feel like when you're in love.

I think this book has so much potential as I’m still in the first few chapters. I also see that people are reading it with me and I think everyone should lay out their opinions. My favorite character has to be Zee.

DARK INFATUATION

DARK INFATUATION

Luciano asks out of nowhere. I think for a second and then answer him honestly. “Yes.” I have always liked learning different languages that’s why I know how to speak Spanish besides my mother language that is English. I look around myself and notice that there are not so much people out here. I think this has something to do with the fact that today is Wednesday. A busy day in middle of weak. Different tourists are also here taking pictures with their camera. Luciano stops infront of a small shop and I check it to see it is a small book shop.

It was a good book i just wish they would have made Ana a lil bit tougher so that she would be able to stand up to her husband better, and they should have made he brother have a tough talk to his brother in law to not hurt his sister, but a good book and sad one as well

It was indeed disturbing from the first few chapters but I still managed to continue and finally finish the book after 2wks 😁 It was quite good for a Dark Romance Novel, worth to read, a little bit shorter compare to other books.

Thrown Out, Claimed By The CEO.

Thrown Out, Claimed By The CEO.

The tip hovered over the first blank page. She wrote: Chapter 1 The day I almost broke The words looked back at her. Simple. True. She stopped and smiled. A small, private smile, like someone had told her a secret and she was the only one who knew it. Maybe Destiny was right that day at the bus stop when she said, “Elma, you talk like a story. Why don’t you write it?” Maybe she did have a story to tell. Not just quarterly reports and slide decks. Her story. The one where she kept going even when her eyes burned and her chest felt tight. The one where she almost quit last quarter but didn’t.

I place the bed on the tiny table, hang the apron carefully over the chair, and take off my shoes. My feet throb immediately, and I laugh softly, “So this is adulthood.” Nobody answers, of course. I eat half the bread sitting at the edge of the bed. It’s still soft. Still warm. Better than anything I’ve had in days. When I'm finished, I reach for my notebook. Today’s page waits patiently. And I write slowly. Today I learned: Mesa. Silla. Puerta. Techo. Cafe Pan I stare at the words for a long time, then write one more sentence.

CROOKED: In love with my cousin's boyfriend

CROOKED: In love with my cousin's boyfriend

I rolled my eyes at the memory. He recommended I learn Spanish first so I could move to the neighboring country and start my career in the arts through television, film, or maybe even teaching credentials. He looked down on the Portuguese theater scene, which was very different from my ideals. Still, none of his ideas were bad. In fact, I studied English and finished my Spanish classes, which I’d already been taking during university. And thanks to that, I found it easy to work remotely with theater directors of all levels—from school and street theater to major national stages. I even ended up writing, translating, and editing scripts for European TV and film. Uncle was right about expandin

The Betrayed Ex-wife's Revenge

I picked mine up and gulped it, then placed it down and remained silent. "You have been quiet." She said, wrapping her hand around her glass and taking the wine to her lip for a sip. She wasn't affected by the chaos she caused, so it was a light question. "I've been taking Spanish class." I began, changing the subject and hoping to send the silence away with it. "Really?" "Yeah,” I nodded, adding, "online and after work. When I have free time." "Nice, that means you can understand to an extent." I laughed and nodded. "Solo se un poco (I only know a little)," I spoke, and her eyes glistened with joy.

My arranged marriage

My arranged marriage

Then a letter from a girl in Caracas, handwritten and translated by her younger brother—telling us how her poetry had gone viral after we published it through our Latin America fund. And then, the dream that wouldn’t leave me alone: A global storytelling hub—part school, part sanctuary, part launchpad. A place where women from every corner of the world could come and learn how to speak louder, safer, and together. I wrote the idea in my journal, then tore it out and handed it to Ray over dinner one night. He read it twice. Didn’t say anything for a full minute. Then he looked up and said, “Let’s build it.”

With the flame that he had instilled in me. "I was forced to move to Spain with Marino and his wife and my half brother Luka. They treated me like shit. It was the worst four years of my life. I had to learn the language quickly, it was hard for me to fit in to adapt in a new place. I failed sixth grade because Spanish was the home language and English was used as a first additional subject. I dedicated myself to learn it and I did. Marino was cold towards me, I never understood why? Maybe because I reminded him of my mother or that he was forced to take responsibility and stay with me after he had abandoned us when I was eight. Luka called me a few days ago informing me that his mother pass
