Como estas?” I said with a big smile. “Muy bueno,” he nodded with a small smile. “Gracias,” I turned to my pancakes and took a bite. Luis laughed lightly beside me. “You are a fast learner,” “I told you,” I spoke with pancake in my mouth. “These are way too good Ms. Emma. Esta muy delicioso” I added the Spanish version in the end after glancing at Luis.

This language is not easy, especially with the genres. You have to say the gender of animals and people, for example: perro and perra, gato and gata, profesor and profesora, maestro and maestra, amigo and amiga, and so on. Hi, I am going to write the next chapter in Diego’s pov and because he’s Spanish, his inner monologue and the exchanges between him and his wolf are Spanish too. However, I don’t speak a word of Spanish and I don’t want you to have to g****e translate the entire inner monologue. So instead I’ll write the whole thing in English and you can imagine it with a thick Spanish accent. In my mind, Diego looks like a young Antonio Banderas or like Diego Luna ( I know he’s Mexican, but still).

Alisha's POV The two of us chatted the whole ride there, I gave her the run down on Alvan at least the few things I knew about him. He is here in Spain visiting friends and checking out the job situation here. There is no family back in Mexico and he is joining the pack in Barcelona if he decides to stay permanently. His visa is for a year like mine , he picked Spain because of his friends and the fact he knows the language. He grew up bilingual, that's why his English is so good.
