Today Yesterday Tomorrow

Time. It’s the only thing every person has – regardless of gender, age, race, and social status. We all have the time. But, time, for others, can be longer than they expect it to be, shorter than it is, and for some like Zoe, time is her ultimatum. Living a mundane life in the peaceful city of Glendale, Zoe only has two priorities in life – her mom, and her dream. Arts has brought colors and meaning to her life, and the ambition of being a successful artist someday, just like her dad she never met. Despite the lack of confidence in her works, Zoe has big dreams. But her dreams slowly fall in the spiral of her reality when she was diagnosed with a chronic disease. Now, her time is ticking. She has so many things she wants to do and now with her time being limited, she goes out from her comfort zone and starts to explore, wanting to live her life to the fullest before her time is up. Her once dull and boring life turns completely upside down when she met Lucas, a mafia leader. Despite knowing the pending danger that comes with him, she was rather thrilled because why not? She might die tomorrow, or the next day, or even the next few hours. What harm could it be if she falls for a mafia leader when she’s more scared of her condition? And the excitement she rather felt eventually birthed something really unexpected – something that gave her life a new purpose she never imagined she would have.

Unang araw sa trabaho ni Jean at hindi niya inaasahan na ang nakaaway pala niya sa shop ng kaniyang kaibigan ay ang magiging boss pala niya. “Good morning Ms. Jean Salazar! Remember me?” Sarkastikong sabi nito. At ako naman ay halos manigas sa kinatatayuan ko! At parang gusto ko na lang bumuka ang lupa at lumubog dito! Di ako makapag salita dahil parang walang lumabas na boses sa lalamunan ko, pinagpapawisan ako kahit ang lamig naman sa loob! Napakurap naman ako at tumikhim bago nagsalita. “Huh? Ah ehem,  g-good m-morning sir! I'm Jean Salazar sir! Nice to meet y-you!” "You can sit down Ms. Salazar baka sabihin mo wala akong manners?” sir Sandrex. “Po? si-sige po sir, t-thank you!” utal-utal kong sagot. “So Ms. Salazar, alam kong nagulat ka sa nalaman mo! Right? Na ang gago palang nakabungguan mo kahapon ay ang magiging boss mo ngayon!” sir Sandrex “S-sir! I...” “Ssshhh, Ms. Salazar don't worry I don't mix personal matters in my business!” sir Sandrex. 'Lord! Please gawin mo na kong invisible ngayon!' Binubulong ko to sa sarili ko habang nakatingin ako sa supladong lalaki na to! Aba, Malay ko bang siya pala ang magiging boss ko! Tadhana nga naman oo! Hinawakan nito ang magkabilang armrest ng upuan at inilapit ang muka sa akin! Na halos na aamoy ko na ang mabango nitong hininga at ang pabango nito na alam kong mamahalin! Ang lapit ng muka niya na halos ilang dangkal na lang ay lalapat na ang matangos niyang ilong sa ilong ko! Lord! Please ibuka mo na talaga ang lupa! Now na! “Afraid of what I'm going to do Ms. Salazar? Look straight into my eyes! And tell me what you said yesterday!” Sir Sandrex with his husky voice.

Sabi nila lahat ng bagay at tao my lugar may pwesto, may panahon at oras makakapagpasaya man sayo o hindi. Gaya na lang ng araw sa umaga bwan sa gabi, ang tubig sa ilog umaagos at ulan ay pumapatak, ang tao ay nabubuhay at namamatay... But Im not buying it kasi kung ganon? Bakit kinuha agad ang mahal ko? Ang lugar at pwesto pati panahon at oras nya ay dapat sa tabi ko. Kaya isa lang ang ibig sabihin LIFE IS A BIG BULLSHIT UNFAIR! Sandali ko lang syang nakasama pero kinuha na lang sya bigla. Marami pa kaming gustong gawin at puntahan. Marami pa syang pangarap na gustong tuparin. Kung maibabalik ko lang ang oras. Pero kahit anong gawin ko di na ko makakabalik sa oras na yon. Yong masaya at kasama ang mahal ko. *** Tumgin ako sa salamin at yuko. Tumingin uli ako sa salamin... Tingin sa likod.... Sa salamin uli.... "Oh jesus!!!!" "Waaaaaaahhhhhh..." Sigaw ko habang nakaturo sa salamin. Subra talaga ang takot ko kaharap ko ang bata kong pag mumukha! Sigaw pa rin ako ng sigaw buti na lang walang tao kundi para akong baliw. Totoo ba to? Kinurot ko sarili ko at pinag sasampal. "Aray! Putik ang sakit" "Ano bang nangyayari? Ganito ba sa heaven?" Lumabas ako hahanapin ko na si mahal walang duda patay na ko! As in dead. Pero pano si mommy? Hinihintay ako. "Bala na si batman basta mahanap ko si mahal." Napadaan ako sa labas ng at.. Ano ba showing nila mga luma na pang 2014 pa. sariwa pa sa akin ang mga taon ng nakilala ko si mahal. Teka? Parang may di tama. Kaya nag duda na ko nagtanong- tanong ako at sa 20 na taong tinanong ko isa lang ang sagut... Today is APRIL, 17,2014. Hindi pwede, 2055 na sa panahon ko.

It was her Father and she was being forced to come with him but someone suddenly came and grabbed her hand away from her Father. "Don't you ever come near her. Nobody has the right to touch the Mother of my children." He uttered using his threatening voice.
