The Alpha's Quiet Mate

Lilith crumpled to the ground, unconscious, her face bloodied. “That’s for making my mate bleed,” Tobias growled, his voice dark with fury. Elara didn’t move. She just stood there, staring at Lilith’s crumpled body.

I really loved this story!! The storyline was different from so many of the others from this genre! I loved the characters and their interactions. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was that there were some grammatical errors and sometimes speaking was attributed to the wrong person.

Lucifer

Lucifer

When I asked Lillith to tell me more, she spat in my face and told me to sod off. At first, I believed that Lana might have been the progeny of an angel and a seer. However, after thinking it through, I realized that it was possible that Lilith was lying to Bree or the Seer lied to Lilith. The more I analyze the situation, the more I conclude that The Creator knew of Lana’s existence. I just need to know why The Creator conspired with the Seer to make her human and place her within my proximity in such a manner.

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

He was bruised and bleeding, but his golden eyes were fixed on the mercury jar with a lethal intensity. “They wipe the planet,” Lilith said, looking up at us. “They remove every trace of the biological vessels—human, wolf, and everything in between—so they can start again in a few million years. We have months, maybe only weeks, before the Hive ship arrives in the upper atmosphere.”

ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW Lilith, a 4000-year-old figure in Jewish folklore who, in some stories, was Adam's wife before Eve, had a monstrous rep in ancient Babylonia (her name derives from a Sumerian word for female demons or wind spirits, lilitu). According to scholar J. A. Scurlock via the Jewish Women's Archive, the Babylonians believed the lilitu "were hungry for victims because they had once been human," and "slipped through windows into people’s houses looking for victims to take the place of husbands and wives whom they themselves never had." While the image of Lilith as a deadly, hungry temptress has endured for centuries (Lilith was the First Vampire in True Blood, for

Mrs. Lyla And Her Obsession

Mrs. Lyla And Her Obsession

Chapter 21 How Does She Know? Lyla Atelo. After Sage had left my office, I was bristled. Sara and Ivy pounded through the door once more to see me. I knew they were asking questions and rambling on about something, but my mind wasn't in the conversation. My ears kept on echoing Sage's words... I was his first? Like... I was the first woman he had ever had sex with, or did he mean I was the first older woman he had ever had sex with?

Lily's Secret

Lily's Secret

I looked over to Lily who is also blushing "We are just... I'm just helping her to take her shirt off." Jibee nodded but I didn't miss her and smirked "The food is ready. You need to eat, you need to take your med." she said to Lily ~~ Lily let Jibee and Kevin sleep. While we were eating, Lily kept her mouth shut. I was confused why Lily needed to take medicine. "Uh... Lily?" She looked up to me "Hm?" "Why do you need to take medicine? Are you ill?" "I have a heart problem; I'll die in less than five months if we didn't find my perfect donor."

Moonstone Lies

It was filled with a black powder. "This is the last of the cursed toxin… enough to destroy half the continent…" She clutched the pouch tightly. "Do you want the antidote?" "Kneel and beg me! Just like Selene knelt before me all those years ago!" "Otherwise… the entire werewolf race will burn with me!" Kaelan took a step forward, intending to seize the poison. But Lilith had already raised the pouch to her lips. "Don't come any closer!" she threatened. "One swallow, and you all die!"

Ashes of the Forgotten Sister

"I lived by your side for decades, and you never suspected a thing. You treated me like your own sister." Her touch made Theron tremble. Despair washed over him. "You really are a foolish brother." "You killed Cerys," Theron's voice was full of hatred, but even more pain. "Of course I did," Lilith admitted without shame. She stood up and paced before him, as if showing off her masterpiece. "I pierced her flesh with silver. Inch by inch. I peeled her skin with holy light. Layer by layer." Her voice was sickeningly cheerful. Like she was describing a walk in the park.

Kind, passionate and caring but also as tough as nails, take no bullshit and is confident. Theo again bristles, his shoulders tensing as he decides on his next port of call. He ends up nodding, waving for us all to follow through the house and out into the yard where Lilith is standing with Theseus practising using some orb that protects Lilith from incoming powers. Frequently Asked Questions

Goddess Lilith is a complex and powerful figure whose identity spans ancient mythology, religious folklore, and modern spiritual symbolism. Revered by some, feared by others, Lilith has evolved from ancient demonology to a modern icon of feminine power, autonomy, and resistance.

Ancient Origins Lilith's roots trace back over 4,000 years to Mesopotamian mythology, where similar female night spirits, such as Lilitu or Lamashtu, were linked to storms, seduction, and illness. These early depictions often portrayed her as a dangerous, independent force outside traditional male-dominated order.

Lilith in Jewish Folklore In Jewish mystical texts like the Alphabet of Ben Sira (circa 8th–10th century CE), Lilith is described as Adam’s first wife, created equally from the earth. Unlike Eve, she refused to submit to Adam and left the Garden of Eden willingly—asserting her independence. Later traditions transformed her into a demon associated with infant mortality and night terrors.

Key insight: Lilith’s departure from Eden wasn’t out of malice—it was an act of self-determination, making her a rare early symbol of female agency.

Goddess or Demon? Lilith’s identity shifts dramatically across cultures and contexts:

Demoness: In medieval and some religious traditions, Lilith was demonized—often linked to temptation, chaos, or succubus-like behavior.

Goddess: In modern paganism, Wicca, and spiritual feminism, she is reimagined as a dark goddess archetype—a divine embodiment of primal feminine wisdom, sexual sovereignty, and personal empowerment.

Symbolism and Archetype Lilith is often associated with:

The night (her name is thought to derive from the Hebrew layil, meaning “night”)

Sexual freedom and creative power

Shadow work in psychology and spirituality—representing the hidden or repressed aspects of self

Resistance to oppression, especially patriarchal control

Modern Interpretations In contemporary spirituality and popular culture, Lilith’s role continues to evolve:

In astrology, “Black Moon Lilith” represents repressed power and feminine strength in the natal chart.

In feminism, she serves as a potent icon of resistance and autonomy.

In occult traditions, Lilith is sometimes honored as a goddess or spirit guide in rituals focused on inner transformation and reclaiming personal power.

Why Goddess Lilith Matters Today Lilith’s story resonates more than ever in a world increasingly attuned to themes of empowerment, self-expression, and equality. Whether viewed as a goddess, archetype, or mythic symbol, Lilith challenges traditional narratives and invites a deeper understanding of female divinity, freedom, and shadow integration.

Bottom line: Goddess Lilith is not just a figure from the past—she’s a living symbol of power, liberation, and the sacred feminine in its rawest form.
