Alice and Annie sat down at the cafeteria, ready to dig into their food when Tony walked up to them and took a seat at their table. "Hi, I'm Tony Sylvester." He smiled as he introduced himself while Alice and Annie looked at him with questioning faces. "Sorry to disturb you but have you heard from Sophia or seen her today?" Tony asked. "Are you the cute guy from the last meeting…The new guy?" Annie asked smiling while Alice squatted at her. "What? Is he cute? And to know that our Sophia is close to him makes everything more strange." Alice teased instead.

Theo loved the adrenaline rush, and living in the bright world bored him. Tony, his, super relaxed when his best friend gave him power. The Alpha leader of the Black Lotus thinks that only Tony is worthy of the Wind pack leadership. He believed that his best friend was reliable and not a traitor. Even if he became a traitor, Theo would not spare him. “My answer is the same, Tony. I don't like being in the spotlight,” Theo replied as he focused on reading a file on his laptop. “Yes, all right. People's preferences can't be forced.” Tony laid down on the sofa with his eyes gazing upwards. “Theo, how is Damelza? Do you really hate her?” he asked carefully.

He shrugs and then blushes a little, I think embarrassed to have admitted so much. I grin, though, delighted to have him here, and I lean closer to him, knocking into him with my shoulder. He stumbles to the side a little, laughing, and I’m quite gratified that he moved at all. Tony is lankier than the other Alphas in our group – slimmer and less muscled, though still quite tall. “We like you, Tony.” He looks down at me with a grin. “I like you too, Ariel. And the rest of them. Although…” he frowns a bit, looking towards my brother. “Rafe, I think, is not sold on me yet.”

We all cover our ears, but Tony looks unfazed. He walks over to Sophie and kneels in front of her.

He looked to be around my brother’s age—tall, with sharp hazel eyes. “You’re human?” he asked, surprised after sniffing the air. “How is she your daughter?” he questioned my father. “Her mother was human,” my father answered calmly, as if he had already accepted our fate. “I see.” The man nodded. “Nice to meet you, Serena. I’m Lieutenant Daniel.” I frowned, confused by his politeness. Why was he treating me differently? “Untie them,” I requested. “I will—if you agree to come with me to my kingdom.”

He turned to Harriet, asking if he could hold her. “Of course. You’re not a stranger.” Harriet said, resting on Damien, who had his hands wrapped around her waist. “Her name is Aliyah. Addison named her.” Harriet said, and Tony laughed heartily. He expected that much from Addison. Harriet felt that everything was finally back in place now that Tony had returned to New York. She was glad that, after everything, the people that mattered the most to her were happy and safe. Despite everything that happened, they still found a way to survive because, in the end, love conquers all.

His tone was cool, his posture tense. My father’s smile didn’t reach his eyes. “Alpha Nolan,” he greeted, his voice perfectly polite but carrying that undercurrent of superiority he never bothered to hide. “I trust my daughter has been… satisfactory. I haven’t heard any complains about her from you. I did not think that you would be able to hold onto her for so long given the circumstances of your marriage and agreement. But you seem to be satisfied…” Nolan’s eyes narrowed. “She’s more than satisfactory. She’s my Luna.
