“Take us to the Council Hall.” I winced at the snarling quality of his voice. I wish I had something to drink to take the edge off, but there wasn’t any alcohol in the car. As he closed the door, our beta started driving. I didn’t know how he knew where to go, but it didn’t matter. The waves of fury coming from Tony were threatening to drag me under. One of us had to be level-headed. Tony pulled out his phone, hissing and growling at the pain in his hands as he fumbled to dial. A sense of unease settled over me as I watched him. The strange voice laughed again, this time louder, which made me close my ears. "My parents are still alive" I further said and abruptly saw the bird shadow again. The bird flew ahead, suddenly became visible and changed into an old woman but couldn't see her face because she was backing me. He was just relieved he didn’t have to hurt Jerry any further, the pair went way back. Tony headed towards the door, hearing Jerry call after him “IF you’re going to do something stupid, Tony, make sure shes all in first” Tony paused in the doorway and closed his eyes for a moment.

After a few minutes with no sign of this Tony person, Atticus began to grow impatient. "Wait, what is that?" Someone broke the intense silence. "I told you she would come. She always comes."
