A big tear dripped from his left eye and then another from his right eye as the toddler blinked, not believing his eyes. "Baby, why are you crying?" She asked in a croaked voice as she slowly sat upright gently holding his back so he wouldn't fall back. "UWAHHHHHHH...." Finlay let out a loud cry. His eyes closed tightly and the next thing he threw his small arms around her neck and hugged her with all his might afraid that if he loosened the hold she would leave him. "Uwahhhhhhhhh, F...Finwaaahhh," He sobbed loudly as she rubbed his back. Only to realize that he was wrapped in bandages.

He stopped giggling and looked at her, but her gaze was plastered on the floor. "Adele." He called yet again, but Adele did not respond. She began sobbing and Jamal quickly raised her head up with his hand, only to see that her face was drenched in tears. "Baby." He whispered. "What's wrong?"

Lorenzo walked in from the bathroom and stopped when he saw my face. “What is it this time, baby girl?” he asked gently as he came closer and knelt in front of me. “I saw a video of a puppy tripping over its own feet and it made me cry,” I mumbled and wiped my eyes with the back of my hand. “It was so cute and clumsy and now I cannot stop.”

He forcefully pulled his leg away, causing me to fall again and collapse onto the floor. I stopped crying when I heard Celes crying too, sobbing like a child who had just been robbed of candy. “Mommy… my mommy… The baby is crying,” Celes said through her tears. It was like she had gone back to being a child. Zeke approached to comfort her. “Don’t cry, baby. She’s bad. She took your candy, right?”

Tail was in tears. Her eyes were full of tears. Beads of tears kept rolling down her cheeks. Everett panicked, wiped her tears, and asked with a frown, "Why are you crying?" Tail deflated. She couldn't catch her breath from crying. "Do you not like me anymore?" Everett froze. He sighed and asked, "That's why you're crying?" "Isn't that serious?" "Of course, I like you." Everett replied and looked into her eyes tenderly.

Zelda Tiny sobs escaped me, a pathetic, leaking sound I couldn't contain. I pressed my fingers to my lips, trying to silence the tremors, but they wouldn't stop. He turned, his eyes widening as he saw my tears. Stunned, he pulled me into his arms. "Why are you suddenly crying?" I couldn't speak. My throat was tight, choked with unspoken words, with the weight of everything I knew now. He remembered. He remembered the little girl who cried for him, even when he wouldn't cry for himself. A small, sad smile touched his lips. He pulled my hands away, kissed my wet cheek, and coaxed me,
