Without even looking at Julia, he said, "You came back too late. We've already had dinner. There are still some leftovers in the fridge. You can heat it up and eat it." Though only minutes had passed, Julia felt as if she'd been standing frozen in place for days. Moving her stiff legs, she walked toward Coby. "You wanted a pet, right? I got you a kitten." She bent down, letting him see the kitten she held. After glancing at it, Coby looked up at her and said, "But Aunt Juliette already got me a parrot. It can even repeat the phrases I teach it. A cat can't do that. It just meows all the time. It's so annoying."

Katrina said as she whistled in her usual rhythmic voice and Althea rolled her eyes saying, "Ugh! Not again!" A black cat walked towards Althea and she could not even see the face of her. She meowed and roamed around her feet and she shooed her away. "Hey, don't be rude to her. She missed you," Althea had a cat named Casper which was later on changed by Katrina and is now known as Cruella. "Cruella, come to me, my love. She's not interested in you... even after so many decades." "I hate cats..." Althea said boringly when Katrina answered, "Shut up, Althea."

And that, she knew, was something truly special. As she sat there lost in thought, she felt something rubbing against her leg. She looked down and saw Zowie, her cat. The little orange and white fluff ball seemed to be trying to comfort her. Catherine smiled and picked up the cat, holding it close to her chest. Maybe being a queen wouldn’t be so bad after all. She was always up for any challenge, and this was certainly the biggest challenge of her life. But she was determined to make the most of it and to make the people proud.
