I beat slimes and rocky frogs in the forest near the village, you know?” Carrola chuckled. “While we wait for Melana to get you some milk, why don’t we have a chat?” The man smiled and sat in his seat. The kitten made itself comfortable by laying on its side and facing the window. Usha tapped his tail slowly while looking at the window while Carrola was leaning on his seat and watching the little cat’s behavior.

The calico cat’s tail suddenly flicked upward, and in the puddle at its feet, it traced out a perfect candlestick chart—its tail moved with a precision that seemed almost too deliberate. “Come home with me,” Takuto said without really thinking. The words left his mouth as he pulled open his raincoat. “I need a CFO.” The calico cat tilted its head, studying him for a moment before it darted suddenly into a nearby alleyway. Towcs suddenly finds himself under Manor as Manor roars at him showing his sharp teeth.

Then the big cat stepped closer and sat beside her. Then Spaghetti leaned in and licked the big cat’s head once. I exhaled hard. “Okay. No civil war. I’ll take that as a personal victory. We’ll need more wet food, another litter box, cat beds, maybe a heater.” “I’ll handle it. I’ll order everything,” Zane said, scanning the room. “Cat beds, climbing shelves, interactive toys. Maybe a family portrait while we’re at it.” Ash cheered, pointing at the big cat. “Her name’s Mama Mozzarella!”

If she was anything like him, this was going to be fun. Before I could tease her, the door swung wider, and Taide strode in like he had a mission on ground. His expression was set—serious, determined, and just a little bit annoyed. I tensed, already sensing what he was about to say. The cat stopped eating for a second, looking up at him, its whiskers twitching. “That… thing isn’t staying,” Taide said, pointing at the cat with the kind of disgust usually reserved for rotten food or clogged drains.

It got Cai Kang suspicious and she tried to pet the cat before it scratched him. She pulled her hand back. “Ow! Feisty little thing aren’t you?” She stopped after seeing a bandana in the corner, immediately recognizing it. The cat went back into the cushion where it lay on to rest. Cai Kang then walked away. “Where are you going?” Toya asked said. “A shower. I’m freezing.” She said. “Saeko has set up a bath in case you want one.” Toya said. “Thanks” Then Cai Kang noticed the cat being wet too.
