Rise Of She-Wolf
The tune of a song echoed in her head, and she sang it softly, her eyes closed as she relaxed against the soft, speckled bark.
Go no more a-rushing, maids in May,
go no more a-rushing, maids, I pray,
go no more a-rushing, or you'll fall a-blushing . . .
Until everything became quiet around her, and instinct told her that she was soon no longer alone. Pausing, Torcia lifted her lashes and jumped when she saw a dark figure standing right beside her, "My God." She stumbled backwards, and a pair of hands grabbed her shoulders, steadying her. Stumbling in surprise, Torcia smashed into her captor in an attempt to regain her freedom.
