ff to work so I'll help the wolves find out what they are looking for."

"That will be great. I'm royal beta Carlton and this is my mate, Albums." Carlton pulled his mate close to him and kissed the top of his head.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Jackson smiled, getting off his throne and walking down to the group of wolves. He extended his arm and shook Carlton and Albus' hands. "Welcome to the demon pack."

"Alpha king Legolas," Legolas gripped Jackson's in a tight handshake. For some reason the wolf before Legolas set him off. He wanted to rip him apart because the wonderful scent was wrapped around him. Was this the guy his mate could have moved on to? Was the scent even hers?

"What can I do for you, your Majesty?" Jackson avoided any eye contact with the alpha as a sign of respect. He kept his eyes either on the alpha's chest or  on the ground. He also avoided glancing in Carlton and Albus direction in case one of them got possessive. His packs didn't need the royal pack to be here any longer than they were already planning on staying.

"We are looking for the Luna queen," Albus replied. His smiles reached all the way up to his eyes. "Apparently, one of our own received word that they saw someone with similar features here and the alpha wanted to look around."

"We can see that being arranged. Unfortunately, our alpha will not be making an appearance because she is busy," Jackson started. "Therefore I  will be conducting a tour if you wish."

"But she doesn't- " Manny began.

"She doesn't want you to rearrange your schedules just to meet up with her," Jackson said, walking over to the other side of the room. "Manny, may I speak to you in private for a moment?"

Manny followed after Jackson.

"What was that about?" Carlton asked once they were out of earshot. "I think they are hiding something."

"Of course, they are hiding something," Legolas and his wolf growled. "She's here and we know it! But he won't let us see her.

"How can you be sure?"

"We can smell her," his wolf growled, clawing his way to the surface.

"Alpha!!, calm down. If she is here we will find her," Albus said.

Jackson and Manny sauntered back over. Manny's eyes were cast downwards following after Jackson like a scolded puppy. "Now, that is dealt with, what can I assist you with?"

"A tour," Legolas demanded.

Jackson nodes and called forth Manny. "Take them on a tour of the place then show them their rooms. Dinner is at 6pm." With that Jackson walked out of the room and down to the hall.

Once Jackson was gone Legolas turned towards Manny. "Where is she?" He demanded.

"What?" Manny asked, his eyes darting side to side. His hands started to clam up so he held them behind.

"Where is my mate?" Legolas demanded once more. His voice an octave lower as his wolf started to surface.

"I don't know what you are talking about." Manny turned and motion towards the ha opposite the one they had entered from. "Now, if you will follow me I'll show you around."

Legolas let out a ferocious growl before stalking after Manny through the cave.

Manny led the group to a hallway lined with doors. "Each room has been cleaned and sheets have been changed. "The dinner will be at 6pm. Enjoy your relaxing time."

Legolas waited in the hall as Manny walked away. The rest of Legolas' pack mates started looking at the rooms and picking one to stay in. "Carlton!" Legolas barked.

"Hmmm?" He  asked, turning to look at his alpha as Albus cuddled into his side.

"Keep watch. I'm going to find my mate," Legolas announced.

"She is here. And  I'm going to find her." Legolas stormed off silently down to the hall. He didn't know where he was going but he followed his instincts. Eachbturn he made had his wolf feeling more on the edge. Sometimes it was because he made a wrong turn or because he felt a tiny, tiny little bit calmer. She had to be around here somewhere.

After what felt like hours of walking in circles and passing by tons of similar-looking doors. Some with gold symbols and others bare.

Legolas turned down a hall when his nose picked up a sweet scent. Blueberries and vanilla lingered around the hall. Like a dog, his nose high in the air and knees bent, he bolted down the hall after the scent. This was his chance. He was going to find her.

He didn't know what he was going to do when he saw her but he was determined not to let her go this time around. He planned to scoop her up and beg for forgiveness for the rest of his life.

The scent got stronger the further he got into the house. The hallway led to a large room with pillars around the room. On the other side of the room as a pillar of double doors covered in gold swirls. The door was cracked ajar leading outside into the village.

Legolas rushed across the floor and outside before her scent could disappear. He three the Door open and froze. People of all shapes, sizes and forms were mulling about. How was he going to find her?

Just as he was about to give up, a head of light brown curls caught the corner of his eye. He turned. The girl had disappeared into the house. Without another thought, he rushed off after her.

"Someone looks very pretty today," Sarah laughed as Aleena came bounding out of her room in a bright pink tutu and a baby blue tank top.

"Jackson said we had guests staying here and I want to look pretty." Aleena smiled, twirling a piece of her hair that had fallen out of messy braids.

"Would you like me to French braid your hair to make it pretty?" Asked Sarah. She guessed her daughter hadn't taken out the previous braids she had done a few days ago since she was almost eight, she had refused to let anyone touch her hair or brush it. That resulted in two months of knots before her mother sat her down and chopped all of her hair off.
