Dorothy closed her eyes lightly, her face filled with regret. She regretted believing Janice and going against Larissa and Ambrose. If she had just kept to herself, she would still be the prestigious First Lady. She would have never been reduced to this. Luckily, the heavens had helped her. Just now she had almost been killed by the clones, but the subordinates of Ambrose had arrived right on time, and she had escaped harm. Now that things had come to this, Dorothy had come to terms with everything. Wayne's head turned stiffly toward Janice. His emotions went from shock to disappointment, then to hate and disgust.

" she forced, her palm where cold and wet. "So, it has nothing to do with you or Gabriel..." she started the story. Emily frowned, "Are you sure? then why?!" she asked, impatiently. Dorothy sipped her coffee slowly, "Darius specter applied for divorce...." Emily was totally dumbfounded she covered her mouth, too shock to react to Dorothy's words. "What? How is that even possible?" She shook her head in disbelief. Dorothy put her coffee the bench, she breathed out heavily, "I think the divorce will give you some benefits," Benefit she turned her face Emily.

The others naturally made no objections. However, when they were splitting the loot, everyone’s gaze was fixated on Dorothy because she was Alex’s wife. They both had four children as well, so she was his legitimate spouse. Thus, they naturally let her choose the loot first. Alex said, “Dorothy, take one first. You’ve just awakened, so you should replenish your vanished and divided soul properly.” Unexpectedly, Dorothy refused. She lightly shook her head as she already knew what kind of existence a bone pattern was. However... she indifferently said, “I don’t need them. These bone patterns are ineffective for me.”

There was something, pulling her back, wanting her to pause but so many other things pushed her. I answered simply. It had been during my lowest moment, when I was lying in the hospital with my life on the line. I had been all alone, but Ingrid suddenly came to visit me out of the blue. She brought me some fruits and apologized sincerely to me. That was when I asked her for a favor to slip my divorce papers between the pile of work documents that Corbin had to sign. Ingrid had been shocked, but she still agreed to help me in the end. I had told her that I wanted to live like her. Dorothy struggled to read it and was crying by the time she finished it. “Yes, I was there. I am a coward, that’s why I took so long. You have no idea how guilty I felt. I knew people would come after me because of what I had done: I betrayed a lot of groups just to get rid of Lord Meozo. I wanted to stay away from you to protect you, but they got to you anyway.” Dorothy got up to grab tissues from above a cabinet standing to the right of her television and attempted to wipe the tears, but they kept falling.

“They erased this from you. Buried the bond. Hid the truth." I staggered back. Tristan had been bound? To me? Before the rejection? Before Chloe? “Who did this?!” I shouted into the void. The forest echoed with laughter—twisted, cruel. It wasn’t the woman this time. It was... Dexter Webb. His image flashed between the trees. Watching. Manipulating. “Puppet masters,” the woman said, her voice fading. “They’ve always been pulling the strings.” I tried to run toward him, but the ground cracked, swallowing me whole.

I looked at her scornfully. "I'm not a recycling center. Why should I want you?" While dating Callista over the past few years, she hadn't helped me at all. All she had done was manipulate me relentlessly. That wasn't the kind of love I hoped for at all. I was going to grab this opportunity to cut off all ties with her. Dorothy reached for her torn notes, gathering the shredded pieces on the floor as she tried to calm the growing anger inside her. “Look, even her whore mother died because she didn't want her” Alright, that did it. Dorothy got up and stormed over to Jessica and her friends, fury blazed in her eyes and she could feel Alya taking over. She was tasty for blood and some debt had to be paid. Everyone’s eyes widened as they felt the tension in the air. Just as Dorothy’s hand was about to reach the neck of her target, she came to a halt and turned around as the sound of clapping filled the air.
