ALPHA BETRAYAL: Rebirth Luna

ALPHA BETRAYAL: Rebirth Luna

The guards responded in affirmation. In the dimly lit chamber, the atmosphere was heavy with tension and fear as the torture continued. Hercules' face remained impassive, showing no signs of mercy or compassion. His Beta Neo, on the other hand, seemed to relish the man's suffering, his eyes gleaming with sadistic pleasure. The man tied down on the chair cried in agony, his screams echoing off the walls. Despite the pain and terror, he refused to confess to whatever crime he was accused of committing.

My Seven Gorgeous Women

My Seven Gorgeous Women

Hero's consciousness slowly became muddled, and he eventually had a blank look on his face. "W-What did you do to me?!" Hero looked shocked. His soul seemed to have fallen into an icy abyss that froze him to his core. "Don't worry. I won't kill you. I'll just maim you and make sure you suffer a fate worse than death. You'll find out how it feels to be tortured." Chase stood up slowly. He sounded calm. "No! No! You can't do this to me!" Hero said in a fluster.

The Villain's Hero

The Villain's Hero

“Liam is a bully. I don’t like bullies.” “Mhm,” he rose to his feet and moved to stand near the wall of greenery. “You are a hero.” “Me?” I was astonished. “Oh, no. That’s Tarragon. She’s the hero. I’m just… me.” “No,” he turned back and offered me his hand. His palm was warm and calloused against mine and his arm strong as he lifted me to my feet. He smiled down at me and reached out to stroke a lock of my hair that had fallen free of its braid back behind my ear. “You are a hero. Every villain needs a hero, and you’re mine, Daethie. I think it’s safe for us to get out of here. What do you think?”

Reborn with the Promiscuity System: Good Girl No More

Still, out of the hundred-plus people he could control, he had to release the others and focus on that one who knew how to hack! 'So f*ckin painful!' He howled internally from feeling like his skull was not only being split, but that his brain itself was being smashed and cut into pieces. All over he was feeling uncomfortable for his blood started to seep out of his body, making him look so hideous. Considering that, how could he be feeling good? The torture was no less than what Sandro Smith made him go through four years ago. Bathory was an even scarier opponent than Sandro. To the point that all Eithan could hope for was not a slim chance of victory, but survival.

Alpha Zephyr’s Rejected Mate

Alpha Zephyr’s Rejected Mate

I screamed, struggling against my restraints. The head guard glared at me, his face twisted in a menacing glare. "I will ask you one last time, War Alpha." He raised one of the coals with the metal handle, bringing it closer to my thigh. A wave of excruciating pain hit me as the coal was placed on my left thigh, the heat burning through my skin like a branding iron. I arched my back and let out a scream that shook the walls of the torture room. It brought back memories of being stabbed repeatedly in the chest by enemies and punishing Rogues in my dungeon. Now, I was experiencing the pain myself for a crime I didn’t commit.

Alpha's Blind Luna

Alpha's Blind Luna

Someone that I loved and cherished. “It seems like he never has been tortured before. I thought the Huntress surrounded herself with people who were tough and the same as you, broken and fucked up. But then here is this wolf, he cries and screams at the smallest of pains. I didn’t even need to pull his claws out to get him to tell me that he loved you.” Oran laughed again, seemingly finding our position amusing. The screams finally subsided and I felt the tears fall from my cheeks. I fought hard against the chains and they rattled as the brushed against one another.

Auri had the worst life, but I was happy to read that her mate did not really want to abandon her. I just wish in the end that she would have been put back together. Poor thing also we never talked about her family anymore and wanted to hear about her sisters mate thought for sure it would be Bryan

The Billionaire's Underrated Ex-Wife Is A Secret Agent

The Billionaire's Underrated Ex-Wife Is A Secret Agent

He nodded to the man with the prongs, and this time they pressed the metal against my stomach. The scream that ripped from my throat was louder than any before, pure, unfiltered agony. My body jerked uncontrollably, the current sending me into violent spasms. The pain was indescribable, all-consuming. I felt like I was being torn apart from the inside out, like my skin was on fire, my bones cracking under the pressure. I wanted to die. I wanted it to end. But I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction. I wouldn’t beg. Even as the pain took me under, drowning me, I clung to the one thing stronger than the torture: my hatred for Viktor Romanov.

Wolfblood

Wolfblood

All I could do was lie there and hold my injured front legs up, completely hopeless against the enemy, howling and whining into the cold air. He swiped down my underside, tearing into the sensitive nipples on my front, and a string of yelps followed. His goal was clearly not to kill me but to torture me, just like Alex’s sister. The whole situation brought me right back to being in that cell again, completely hopeless as someone tore into my body, doing whatever they wanted to it, taking away all my control and dignity. My howls turned more agonizing as I went into a bad place.

this is the second book that I have read from this author. the first book was amazing. the second book is just as amazing. the author develops your characters in depth. also unlike some of the books on this app she edits very very well. I would recommend reading anything this authorized writes.

This book is already so much better than the first. I'm hoping that Jasmine doesn't remain a doormat with Lucy and she gets her comeuppance. I also hope Luke regrets his decision and becomes jealous. Jasmine deserves better than those 2. love Blake! Talia and Alex story definitely intriguing.

"That's not who you are. That's who I am. And I hate who I am sometimes.” "I kill people," he continued, his eyes boring into mine. "Without hesitation, without remorse. I've tortured enemies. I've made people beg for death. I've built an empire on violence and fear. And every single day, I look at you, at your kindness, your compassion, your gentle heart, and I think, 'Thank god she's nothing like me.'” “But I want to be stronger,”

Two Days Until the Abused Hero Reboots

Two Days Until the Abused Hero Reboots

Andrew was subjected to beatings and verbal insults every day. It seemed that he had truly lost his mind. He would constantly mumble to himself in a crazed tone while scrubbing robotically. "Go back… I have to go back to the present… Diana… Take me home, honey! This isn't real… I was transmigrated here, so I can definitely transmigrate back to the present… I have to find a way… I have to…" He would either be doused with a bucket of freezing, filthy water in the next second, or someone would smash a wooden bat against his back.

자주 묻는 질문

That balance is where the best character work lives, honestly. It’s not just about giving a hero a tragic backstory and then making them overpowered; it’s about showing the cracks in the armor at the exact moments when they should be strongest. I think the vulnerability works best when it’s tied directly to their strength. For instance, a hero who’s a ruthless protector might be completely undone by a memory of failing to protect someone, turning that core strength into a source of paralyzing guilt. The strength feels more real, more earned, because we’ve seen the cost.

Physical vulnerability is easy. Emotional vulnerability is the real trick. It has to be shown in small, involuntary reactions—a flinch at a certain phrase, a moment of hesitation before entering a room, the way they can’t meet someone’s eyes. When they do finally break down, it can’t feel like a plot device; it has to feel like the dam finally giving way after all the pressure we’ve seen them withstand. The most effective ones make you ache for them to just get a moment of peace, but the story never lets them have it for long.

What I find less convincing is when the vulnerability is purely reactive, just a response to external torture. The deepest vulnerability comes from an internal conflict, a part of themselves they can’t reconcile with their power. That’s the stuff that keeps me up at night, wondering how they’ll ever heal.
