I almost laugh at that thought. "Yea it would have been nice having you here hours ago before he started his messed up version of torture, Cassius. I'm almost completely healed, but he doesn't need to know that. I know with the insane amount of blood coating my body and the floor that he will believe me without much thought.

The death I've prayed for for years is minutes away, however I don't want it. I want to live, to finally get away from it all and be free. Free of a life without pain or torture. A life I don't hate. To live a life without fear and pain. To finally be myself without fearing what would happen to me next. Yet here I am, laying on the forest floor broken and abused. Ironic isn't it? Struggling to stand up with whatever it is still lodged in my shoulder I look around to see where they've gone. I end up falling over from pain and landing on the object still protruding; causing it to lunge deeper into me. Finally letting the darkness take over.

I threatened, but it fell on death ears as the two rogues present in the room plus that Araknos approached with evil grins. "We are going to have fun with you," one of the rogues snarled baring teeth, I knew what was to follow was going to be worse than hell. The torture began, each agonizing second deliberately designed to break both my body and my spirit. The araknos warrior, in its grotesque form, blended seamlessly with the shadows and took pleasure in its sadistic task as the rogues each dragged me by the chains bound to my wrists in the opposite direction, I felt as if my body would tear itself in half.

At that very moment, I despised Asher, and I also despised the Alpha King. When all of a sudden, the alpha king spat in the face of the warrior and put a stop to the process, the warrior was being tortured. I could see every drop of blood dripping off of the warrior, who was covered in blood himself and dripping blood at an alarming rate. I had a strong desire to approach him, untie him, and help him escape, but I did not have the courage to put my plan into action. I was very disappointed in myself.

“I’m here. I’ll help you.” But when I touched his arm, I jerked back with a gasp. He was burning. Not warm like any werewolf. Not feverish. Burning like fire was moving under his skin. My heart dropped. This was no normal poison. Whatever they did to him was cruel. I turned as Viktor stepped inside. “Do you see what you’ve done?” I shouted before I even realized I was speaking. “You talk about honor and forgiveness, but look at him. This isn’t justice, Viktor. This is torture. You’re no better than the packs you judge.”

It only brought more cases to him to solve and he was familiar with only one solution. Torture. Torture of different kinds, for the ten years of his painful journey he had learned different ways to reduce his enemies to the extent of them either asking to be killed or trying to kill themselves. And he loved every bit of being the reason of others pain, screams and begging, even though the pleasure never stayed there for long but still it was the only way for him to satiate the impatient fire of hatred which was burning in him for the past ten years.

What a fucking joke," he scoffed, clearly starting to get irritated. He did not take the comment well and he moved in closer, his hand on one side of her and his lips just inches away. If he wasn’t being held up by his restraints, he would be slumped on the floor in unconsciousness. “Hit him with a hot shot and get me a whiskey and something to clean up with,” I tell one of the warriors in the room. “Yes, Alpha!” the warrior says and hurries out of the room. A hot shot is an accelerated healing serum that we use in torture. The person feels everything. Every little bit of their bones mending, their nerves straightening, and their skin reknitting. It happens in a matter of minutes and puts a huge strain on their heart. And once they’re healed, we can break them all over again.

"I... I can't imagine... what kind of pain and suffering you endured. It's a miracle that despite all that, you're still standing here in front of me like a normal person." That's right. Victor stripped off all the humanity left in him, treated him as if he were an animal, and worse. No normal person could endure such physical, emotional, and mental torture.
