“I’d heard you were in lockup for a while. Sounds like you had a rough time there.” “It was the worst, yeah,” said Eva. “I got stabbed so many times.” “And also the best,” added Miko. “I learned so very much.” The Toymaker laughed at their youthful exuberance. “Tell me more,” he said. “I like to live vicariously through my best contractors.” “Maybe you oughta watch our ‘Cast,” said Eva. As they gave a brief recollection of their time at the Empire, he placed the last few parts of his toy, tightened it down, and closed it up. It resembled a little jackal, curled up in a golf-ball sized orb.

There’s really not much time to spare. I crouch down to Michael’s level and pat his head. “Why don’t you make a huge castle for Mommy and show her when she comes back, hmm?” I suggest. “I’ll make sure to bring your favorite candy, and we can sit in your little castle and watch Toy Story again.” His lower lip quivers, but he brightens up immediately at the second part of my sentence. “Sure!” he exclaims, throwing his hands up in the air. “That’s my boy,” I grin, ruffling his hair again and pulling him into a hug.

The Toy. . . We sat on the floor mattress in a lounge chair position, the blanket wrapped around our partially naked bodies. I could feel the warmth of his firm chest against my back as I leaned into him. His eyes widened in bewilderment before bursting into laughter. “So, you thought I was the Logan in your diary?” “You can’t blame me. You both have the same features.” I smiled, sipping from my juice. After the sex, there was no need for alcohol.

I bent down and he nodded. “You look beautiful, Mummy.” I smiled and opened my arms for an embrace and he hugged me. Eleanour also hugged me from behind as she didn't like being left out of hugs. We talked about the new toy movie coming out as we strolled downstairs and I could hear the excitement in their voices. My company was also working with a moviehouse to create a toy story and I was pretty excited as there had been months of preparation, almost a year even. But it was all working out.

“That’s Tobey.” As if summoned by his own name, Tobey came running toward them, pushing a toy truck overflowing with grass, sand, leaves, and several unidentifiable treasures collected with great importance. The wheels refused to turn. He stopped in front of Alicia, brows knitted in deep confusion. “Mommy… It’s broken.” She crouched beside him. “Maybe it’s just tired.” Then she looked up. “Tobey, this is Teddy. An old friend of mine.”

tapes Laredo had played in the cabin. As the music played, the front of the box clicked open. Inside, nestled on a bed of black velvet, was a single, perfect tooth. A baby tooth. “It’s not Maya’s,” Toby hissed, his hand hovering over his sidearm. “She hasn’t lost any yet.” “It’s mine,” I whispered, the memory hitting me like a physical blow. “I lost that tooth when I was six. Laredo told me he gave it to the ‘tooth fairy.’ He gave it to the Board.”

My room door i was so sure I had left shut that first night. "He played you," Dante said softly. "He's still playing you. Making you think you have power when really, you're dancing exactly where he wants you. You and Julian both." "Why are you telling me this?" "Because I want you to understand what you are to him. A toy. A possession. Something he acquired and will eventually discard." Dante's hand came to my face. I jerked back. "But it doesn't have to be that way. You could choose differently."

Nanette simply swayed the wolf fang pendant in her hand without saying a word. Draco's eyes turned bloodshot. The veins on his temples bulged as he snatched the fang from her. "Where did you get this?" "Lea left it behind, of course," she said with a smirk. Draco's fingers began to tremble. This was his token of affection to me and my most treasured possession, and I had never taken it off. That was when he began wondering if something had happened to me.

Naitee's Pov:- " I don't know what to buy for a newborn child. Will this toy be a good choice or this giant truck or this sports car edition or these superhero statues? " Maverick questioned me because right now we both are standing in a toy shop. Well, I was dragged here from my workplace. Even though Theodore came to my rescue but you know how stubborn Maverick can be.

She even became very talkative. Well I guess when you’re a mother, raising a child, you also would observe how time flies so fast. I started to open the second box which Mallory packed herself. And just one look at the box my head starts to ache. A big brown box with so many toys, big and small inside. Obviously she did not place the toys neatly inside the box, and what do I expect?
