Love Conquers All

Love Conquers All

Danielle says over my shoulder and sounds as confused as her explanation is. “I don’t see anything, just wolves being whipped up into the air, there’s no creature there.” Erin says, sounding worried. My eyes open as I look towards the monitor she’s watching. Danielle’s right, the solid smoke is swatting pack members away like flies, but doing nothing to harm them. Weird. Where is he going? “Alpha Drake, where is the smog guy going? Do you have anything there that it would target?” I ask through the link. “Nothing but the lake between us and the packhouse, I’m not sure about a smog guy though.” Alpha Drake responds. “We are trying to figure out this forcefield that keeps tossing us around.”

I really loved this book. could have had one more chapter but it was still a great story! I loved the characters and what they accomplished. I think I have read all of this authors books or I am still reading the one she is pushing currently. this author is great ...️

This was SO good. This is the 2nd book of Miss L that I’ve read, and she’s done it again. I love how she manages to capture a strong female lead, and managed to do it 6x in this story. I will say I’m a little disappointed in the abrupt ending. Wish there were a few epilogues honestly.

Iron Serpent Chronicles

Iron Serpent Chronicles

Resting his head on the top of my own, we waited until Tenny seemed to find what he was looking for. "Ah, yes." He pointed to a page that was decorated in gold and silver - actual flakes of the elements if I wasn't mistaken. "This figure is the Prime." The figure was neither male or female by external markers. Haloed in colors from concentric circles of palest to darkest, the Prime stood on what looked to be a bed of snakes. Each snake was eating the tail of the snake closest to it. Each snake was a slightly different color as well. Dozens of lines ran from Prime to the snakes. From Prime's hands, body, face, feet. Everywhere. Prime looked vaguely like a voodoo doll.

Awakening Prime

Awakening Prime

"He's changed hasn't he. I hadn't noticed it until the other night when you left. He lost control but not in the way that you think. You did something unexpected beyond his gaze and it infuriated him." "What are you talking about? Just tell me already," I raised my voice slightly, feeling frustrated and agitated. I just wanted somebody to say the words that I had been in denial about since the moment his knee connected with my father's skull. "Prime has awakened," he said the three dreaded words. "How do you know that," I asked slowly, watching the swirls of the mark on my arm. It vaguely resembled the at symbol but had more swirls that formed more letters. There was an 'a' and what looked l

My Stepbrother, My Mate

My Stepbrother, My Mate

I added, realizing the potential danger of our visible location. Xavier nodded as I put some snow on the fire to extinguish it and saw a plant growing nearby that fumes a strong smell that could potentially mask our presence. “Let’s use this plant to create a smokescreen and confuse them,” I suggested, hoping it would buy us some time to come up with a plan. Xavier nodded in agreement, and we quickly gathered the plant to use as cover. I grabbed a few leaves and crushed them in my hands, releasing the pungent aroma into the air. I rubbed some of it on my body and hoped it would mask our scent from the rogue wolves.

Replaced by His First Love

Replaced by His First Love

The smoke-claws didn’t just touch the monitor; they rewrote the physics of the glass, turning the reinforced screen into a liquid portal of necrotic shadow. I felt the intrusion hit my stone ribs before the hand even cleared the frame—a jagged, high-frequency violation that tasted of the Second Prime’s lingering spite.

Broken Vows, New Promises

Broken Vows, New Promises

“Monroe buried the primary access behind multiple biometric failsafes—linked to him and you.” Aurora’s gaze flicked between Damien and Prime. “So either you override the system…” “Or he does,” Damien finished grimly. The pod hissed again, the fluid beginning to drain. Prime’s form rose, unbothered by gravity, landing barefoot on the steel platform. Naked, expressionless, and terrifyingly calm. Prime stepped forward, movements fluid but mechanical, like a man who hadn’t yet remembered how to be human. Damien stepped between him and the others.

the bodyguard's secret

**“Open the sample cases.” **“No! You’ll kill us all!”** **“The acid will kill you slowly,”** Leo countered, gesturing at the swirling vapor now knee-high. The scientist’s suit was visibly degrading. **“Open them, and I’ll make it quick. One bullet.”** Terror warred with defiance. The scientist hesitated, then his shoulders slumped. He shuffled to the nearest case, fingers fumbling with the complex latches under his damaged gloves. It popped open. Inside, nestled in shock-absorbent foam, were rows of thick glass vials filled with a viscous, iridescent purple fluid. The labels read: **PHOENIX PRIME - STRAIN AEROSOL.**
