He shifted fully into his minotaur form, hooves slamming into the ground. The earth trembled beneath us. Rhydan’s scales rippled across his skin, heat radiating off him in visible waves. “This is your last warning,” I said.

Dante Russo's beast appeared. He emerged from the forest thicket like a giant shadow, his body distorted and grotesque, his eyes bloodshot, his fury palpable. He lunged at us with terrifying speed, his aim clear: to destroy everything in his path. The Middle Eastern wolves, though under my control, faltered before the magnitude of its ferocity, some even trying to flee. Alessandro reacted instantly, pushing me behind him, his body transforming. Luca and Nicola prepared for combat, their weapons at the ready. “I just want this damn war to end.” Then his body shifted. Bones cracked violently. Muscles twisted. Expanded. The sound alone was enough to make weaker warriors flinch. Beast. NARRATIVE POV This massive male was giving orders. His presence was commanding and dark. Yes. He had a pulsating darkness around him, but it oddly called to her. It matched the darkness that filled her hollow soul. It coursed through her veins. His body was riddled with deep scars. He was a war beast. Beast. CC wondered if this was the Beast that the rogues were referring to. The name suited him. She couldn’t imagine this behemoth doing mundane everyday errands like running to the supermarket in a minivan after dropping off the pups at soccer. He was raw and dangerous.

Information is power, if you can get information about your opponent, that means you are halfway to defeating your opponent. The rage awakening is the state an exobeast can enter if it gets agitated and angered to a point of no return. Once this transformation happens, the exobeast will receive a special surge of adrenaline. This adrenaline would increase the exobeast strength, lethality, aggression, speed and other attributes.

The war began. They charged first, screeching, monstrous things. Not all of them were human-shaped anymore. Some had twisted into beasts. Some crawled like spiders, others flew like birds. I screamed and fire ripped from my hands. The front line met them with the same force that they gave. Swords clashed. Claws tore through flesh. The clearing erupted into chaos. Rake was a blur beside me, cutting down anything in his path. Zahra danced like a storm, blades spinning. Beck fought like a damn earthquake.

These ferocious beasts traveled fast and they arrived at Wildfox Ridge in good time. "Bastards of the alien race, show yourself and surrender! The great and victorious Tiger is here!" the tiger Beast Lord threw back its head and roared, its voice resounding through the woods. A few low-tiered fox Beast Lords were watching the entrance into the Ridge and they were about to demand answers from Jiu You and her underlings. Roar! The golden-maned lion gave a roar which turned out to be a soundwave attack with golden glittering ripples. Bang! Bang! Bang!

I spat then punched him across the chest causing him to stumble backward. The hunters quickly charged at me furiously. I folded my hands ready for them when I heard loud growls from behind. I glanced there and noticed how most of my warriors were now in their Tasmanian forms. They rushed past me, some jumping in mid-air landing on the hunters, striking without holding back. Some warriors began firing guns while some held on their swords pretty well. My focus was solely on the hunter with the daggers. His interest in Hera was what made me want him dead.

A sharp collective intake of breath followed his voice, my own breath caught in my throat, remembering all the rumored whispers I'd heard about the beast of Northshore. They said he was one of the three princes who went feral during the war, brought back by magic or sheer will, but never quite the same. Some whispered he was stuck in a half-wolf transformation, locked away in his castle. Others claimed he was a monster, his presence enough to drive humans mad and wolves feral. I flinched when my father's gaze slid to mine, and I immediately lowered my head. "Raven, you will go as a replacement to your sister as the beast's betrothed."

My horse rears, and I tumble from the saddle like a rag doll. “Roxy!” Leo dives for me—he’s a blur of movement—but the rogues charge in. One of them slams into him mid-air, dragging him down in a chaos of snarls and limbs. The warriors are shifting, too, their wolves emerging in flashes of fur and fury. Claws meet claws. Fangs clash with fangs. But there are so many rouges—more than we saw at first. They seem to pour in from the fog itself. I lie helpless, frozen on the forest floor. I can’t blink, cry out, or even twitch.
