Taming the Fire Dragon
I expect to hear the troupe cheering like they do in the wolf packs when a Luna takes her place among them, but everyone is silent and the feeling around us is one of awe.
“What...?” I begin.
“I created a monument of our love while you were binding us as one,” he says.
He points behind the stage and there, where before there was an empty field, is a tree. The trunk and branches are interwoven, interconnected in a way that they could not be undone without killing the tree itself. The trunk is thick, like the foundation of our love and the canopy of the tree is massive, spreading wider than any tree I’ve ever seen in my life.
