Thirty Days

Thirty Days

"Dammit, you would think I might start getting over this…It's been three bloody years already!" I pat Michelle's hand because I know this is as much as I can do to comfort her. Her pain is still so raw that I think she plays the field to try and forget, and I feel bad that I have brought this up for her. She takes a steadying breath and plasters on a fake smile. "So what are we going to do to make you forget about Mr Tall, Dark and Handsome Bossman?" Michelle jokes with a weak laugh.

He explained. "When can I apply for that? " I enquired. "You can do it once you have completed three months" He stated. "It's just been 47 days now" I said. "49" He corrected. I quickly calculated and he was right. "Yes yes, but... " I paused because I did not know how to say him this. "But......?" "I don't want to go there, I do not like that person being around me it's very awkward, plus I’m little tiny tiny scared as well" I said, and his expression suddenly turned into anger.

I said, my voice quieter now, “that we’ve been gone for three months?” “Yes, Alpha.” Marcus ran a hand through his hair. “That’s not possible,” he muttered. But deep down— Something about this felt terrifyingly real.

His Baby My Burden: The Mafia Rider's Claim

The moment her words registered, his fingers froze mid-motion. "You’re... pregnant?" he asked, his voice low, uncertain. Teresa looked at him as if he’d asked whether she liked salt on her eggs. “Yeah. I mean... it’s been almost three months.” She shrugged. “The pain happens when I don’t eat or I get too stressed.” Three months. That number made my stomach turn. I didn’t need to do the math. I didn’t want to. I felt Matteo behind me—felt his stillness first, then the tension. He hadn’t said a word. Neither had I. Because how could I?

I loved this story. It is the prefect story about love and how love really isn't perfect ;but can be as long as it is worth it and worked at. The only thing that would make this story better is a little editing to fix some of the typos. Otherwise, I highly recommend this book to everyone. GREAT READ

Three Months After My Death

Three Months After My Death

I would have come home to pack my clothes even if I was going away for a trip, but I never once came home during this period. All of my things were at home, but I was gone. The neighbor left. Lori quickly took out her phone to call my best friend. "Hello, have you seen Chad recently?" My friend sounded puzzled on the other end of the call. "I was about to ask you the same question. It's been more than three months since I last saw him. Where did he go?" Lori was unable to answer my friend. Her fingers clenched the phone tightly, betraying her anxiousness.

Just The 3 Of Us

Just The 3 Of Us

I could almost feel the flutter of movement—or probably my imagination since the baby’s too young yet—but either way, it made my chest tighten with both affection and fear. “Mommy’s sorry, okay?” I whispered. “You and I, as well as your auntie Amara, will have a feast at home.” —--- I opened the door to our apartment, only to be greeted by Amara’s panicked and frustrated expression. Her eyebrows were knitted and irritation was visible throughout her face as she looked at the paper she’s currently holding. “What’s up with that expression?” I said, raising an eyebrow. “That landlord again! She raised the rent!” Amara hissed, slamming the paper onto the kitchen counter. “This is the fourth time

The novel 'Three More Months' by Sarah Jio is this beautiful, bittersweet story about a woman named Chloe who gets a second chance at life—literally. After passing away unexpectedly, she wakes up three months earlier with the knowledge of her impending death. It’s like a mix of 'Before I Fall' and 'P.S. I Love You,' but with its own emotional twist. Chloe spends those months trying to mend relationships, fix regrets, and savor every moment she took for granted. The pacing is slow but intentional, letting you soak in every heartfelt conversation and quiet realization.

What really got me was how the book balances hope and heartbreak. Chloe’s journey isn’t about avoiding death; it’s about embracing life fully before it’s gone. There’s a scene where she bakes cookies with her mom, something she always brushed off before, and it wrecked me. If you’ve ever lost someone or wondered what you’d do with limited time, this book hits hard. It’s not just a tearjerker—it’s a reminder to cherish the ordinary magic of being alive.
