Searching through the trees to see if the Alpha was anywhere close. I was so sure that I'di he had fought with Squid the he must have been injured.

But I'm afraid mine might run a bit deeper. I'd even seen one of the SEALs, Cord, I think his name is, and the way he grits his teeth and clench his fists when his woman was talking to one of the guards. She's big as a house and ready to pop any day, but the guy still looked like it took everything in him not to lose it.
