RIVER

RIVER

Now all they had to do was wait, wait until she returned. River rode down to Keystone, to see Mount Rushmore. The drive was so beautiful. If you’ve never been up there, then you are missing out. The beautiful, huge, green pine trees, even the dead trees lying on the ground were mesmerizing. There’s a reason they called that small town Deadwood. The breeze, the air quality, the mountains, the lakes…speaking of lakes, Lake Pactola and Lake Sheridan, are beyond magnificent. Nothing like Lake Houston, River thought and giggled. Stopping at both lakes, to her surprise they were still icy cold and it was about to be June.

Night Wolves

Night Wolves

"Do you not feel that the ancestors are still watching over us? That the old ways are still alive?" "Yes, but—" Suddenly, more memories flooded my mind. Memories of Rush arguing with the Shaman, imploring her to see reason, to attack and kill the wolves without just cause. Memories of Rush breaking away from his tribe. Memories of him forming Nightshade, the Hunters. Memories of Rush and Nightshade exterminating the wolves and, after that, every manner of supernatural species.

The Brightest Star

The Brightest Star

"The Tiger tribe will come to visit us in around two months. Maybe we should ask them for help? If the Phoenix tribe plans to attack us, they won't do it alone." "You suspect the Turtle tribe, eh?" The Great Shaman fell silent in his thoughts. The Turtle tribe was indissolubly connected with the Phoenix tribe, as it exclusively consisted of only men. For the reproduction of the new generation, the member of the two tribes would often have intimate relations with each other. When a woman conceived a child, its sex would be the factor that determined the child's scheduled tribe. For that reason, they were long-time allies linked by bonds of blood.

Ugly Princess? Break the Spell, Fairy Goddess

Ugly Princess? Break the Spell, Fairy Goddess

“Before you poison someone, you should do a little more digging on his background before messing with him.” “I-I guess we were wrong," grunted the woman. The vines was squeezing her limbs tighter before pulling her even more. She was dripping with sweat. “Know this, right now, I have sent my people over to your tribe and annihilate your whole entire clan. None of them shall live for the treachery of your schemes.” “What?” “Yes. They’re all dying right now as we’re speaking.” “You’re lying.” “You’re from the Eastern Border and your clan is called “Sleepy Doom”.

Alpha's Regret After I Died

Alpha's Regret After I Died

I took off through the trees, every muscle coiled with lethal intent, following her trail deeper into the heart of the Rain Tribe’s land. As I broke through the treeline and into the heart of their village, the world erupted around me. People scattered, their screams slicing through the air as they ran from the massive wolf tearing through their sacred land. For a tribe so feared and powerful, they didn’t act like it now. They stumbled over each other in their desperation to get away, children crying as mothers pulled them inside, warriors barking orders that no one seemed to follow. But I didn’t stop. I didn’t slow.

The author is definitely talented and the story is really interesting and intense. Definitely a page turner and unique plot. That being said, I just would like to not have to pay for full chapters where the internal monologue keeps repeating itself. It was frustrating and made me skip some chapters.

I starten reading yesterday i'm at chapter 16 now. But just like Presh_ shuga.7 says : i would also like it if it would updated often, and also not over streched. There are 4 books you're writting now that are still ongoing. I've seen ongoing books streched out 400-1200 chapters !!!

Blood And Water

Blood And Water

I ordered Ikem he obeyed enthusiastically as we carried her to the protection of a plantain shade shielding her from the sun rays. “Take care of mama, let me get some water” he nodded while I set out to find the nearest source of water. The stream was very close to the spot my eyes met a deserted bucket, I scooped some water and ran back to mama and Ikem. My thoughts rummaging with crazy imaginations that I could not comprehend, I tried to wash off the dark philosophy clouding my mind as I took quick – ferocious steps to save my mother. I could hear her taunting words in my psyche, she would always believe that we were the best amongst the rest.

Blackwater Val

Blackwater Val

Disheartened, the tribe kept going north in a forced, fighting retreat all the way into Wisconsin. It was here Black Hawk’s group crossed into ‘the trembling lands’, a region of trackless, marshy swamps and bogs. On the pursuit went, the Sauk men, women, and children struggling through stagnant waist-deep water with militia patrols close behind. They guarded their rear protectively as they fell back, moving ever northward, eating roots and tree bark to stay alive, so exhausted from hunger they could put up little resistance by this point. Yet they turned once more near Wisconsin Heights, turned to make their weary stand there. Outnumbered four to one, the Indians opened fire on the advancing

Uncharted Waters

Uncharted Waters

I try to turn on the shower to have my bath when I realize it’s not working. Come on’ I tap the shower head and realise my water has been cut off. I frown, my lips almost wobbling, sucking it up. I head to my water storage. This has happened too many times to count that I had to start storing water. I’m neck-deep in debt, and I have no idea how to solve this issue.

Delivered To The Alpha King

Delivered To The Alpha King

Far off in the distance, I could hear the sound of water gushing and roughly hitting rocks. The peaceful but aggressive sound of water soon led us to a beautiful sight of nature. A waterfall gushing The sound of water was the sobbing, and the constant flowing of water was the weeping . This could be an ambush. They could be somewhere hiding and looking for us. Witches are not exactly the kindest of people and are known for their cunning plans . They could be waiting for us, guns blazing.
