ending with me taking grievous wounds that should have proven fatal. As I lay there amid the carnage, slowly bleeding out into the loamy soil, an ethereal presence pierced the darkness closing in around my fading vision. A wizened she-wolf with pelt the color of fresh ashes padded forward, herbs and powders already held in deft paws. "Do not fear, young alpha," Kira had murmured, kneeling at my side with a serene focus. "I shall not permit oblivion to claim you before your grand purpose can be achieved."

Making me feel like i just asked the worst question. "Well", he said his voice going back to how it usually was, the voice that would make a stranger run for the hills. "Well I'm Bryan Raven, lived in New York most of my life till now. Cause my dad thinks I can jump off our apartment, so here I am being catered by you guys", he said finally with his face going plane. "Well trust me they're way more places to kill yourself here than in New York", i said matter factly trying to lighten his mood. "And you'll also have enough reasons not to, believe me", I said practically whispering it, hoping he heard me. I hope i never give up on him, he deserves so much, he deserves to br fought for.

“The merc company Raijin and I formed is called Conspiracy of Ravens. Where we’re from, a raven’s a large black bird that’s ridiculously smart, opportunistic, and tricky. They do whatever it takes to survive, and it kinda represents our modus operandi to a T.” All of them mulled over Eva’s words for a few moments before Doreth chipped in her thoughts. “Let’s add a little Drogar flair to your Ravens,” she said. “We’ve got a similar bird - Ventrii Stalkers. They’re these hunter/fishers that’re smaller and less aggressive than Avicii Raptors, but definitely smarter and way more agile.” “Oh, good pick,” added Severas. “Most birds on the planet are in constant conflict with each other. "And what gives you the right to talk to me like that? Grayson's future mate hasn't said anything, so what makes you think you have any say at all? All eyes turned toward me. Raven's tears fell immediately, her hands trembling as she removed the white deer cloak. She then held it out to me with both hands. "I'm sorry, Ella," she said. "I've loved white deer since I was little, and I got carried away. If you really wanted it, you could've just said so. Why did you have to let the she-wolves single me out, bully me, and humiliate me like this?" I was genuinely speechless. What did any of that have to do with me? I hadn't said a single word. Grayson stepped forward and pulled her into his arms

His body goes limp beneath me before I get up and search for the direction Raven went in. A sharp sting graces my back and continues down my side, causing my paws to stumble. My front paws give out as another swipe across my side has me turning my head to find a wolf hovering above me. A flicker of recognition passes over me before he’s striking again. All four of my paws come between us as I roll on my back, ignoring the sharp pain from where he clawed at me. I’m able to use enough force to push him off me and scramble to my feet.

A beautiful, black Raven suddenly swoops down from a tree, catching my sight and holding it as it makes its way over to where Remiel and Lucern are losing the battle against restraining a crazed out Ice. A feeling of peace washes over me when the Raven’s unusal pink eyes meet mine as it swoops by me before landing next to Ice’s thrashing head. I relax back against Levi’s comforting chest as I watch the Raven somehow communicate with the crazed out elf. After a few tense moments filled with Remiel and Lucern casting questioning looks in the birds direction, Ice finally calms down beneath them and appears to go limp. Remiel and Lucern both look to each other before slowly rising from their pla

The furry, blended paw delivered a deadly kick that knocked out Arkan's molars. Of all the REDCA members, Ravin has the most diverse coat patterns. Red is, of course, beautifully polished as his true identity. The white and black stripes are a bonus. The red wolf clan elders used to welcome Ravin's birth with great fanfare. The diversity of patterns signaled a balanced strength of mind, body, and emotions. Arkan got up, shaking out his fur. "How did you do it?" "Your fang moves are too easy to remember." "One more round!"

Ordering the rye bread, and salted butter that came topped with various types of meat. Some with shredded venison meats, a common delicacy found roaming the tawny's forests. The Tawny harpy was the main neighboring territory to the Raven. What of the ancient forests that didn't belong to the Raven's belonged to them - meaning, most of it. The river that snaked through the landscape was the border. No one Clan laid claim to that but crossing that river by land or air, determined whose laws and cultures you were under. While the boar seemed to prefer the Sephora's Clan's side of the river, the deer preferred Fenn's.

“Sparrow and I are true mates. He’d been stalking me the entire time we were here, but never came forward, as he was unsure if I'd accept him. As you both know, I’ve always wanted a mate, but being a hybrid, it’s not something most would accept. My stalker followed me out to find the herbs. He saved me from a jaguar and a few other incredibly persistent creatures in the marshlands, he pulled me out of the sinking mud pit of the Everglades, and now here we are. All herbs were acquired, and I am a happily marked and mated hybrid.” “Your mate?” Luca and Victoria echoed one another. Raven’s face lit up with a brilliant smile as she stepped away from her friends and stood proudly next to her simm

Being that I am the oldest child of the current feline Alpha, and the first to change, there will be a clan ceremony tonight after I shift. There will be 174 others ascending to shifted across the world with me today, including my best friend and Clan dorm mate Raven. No one would confuse us. I have dark crimson red hair and she has light blond, almost white hair. Her eyes are a robin’s egg blue, while mine are a stormy-dark violet. We are only 10 months apart; me being older. She says that she does not care what her animal is as long as she is not a cow or a whale.
