And when I wouldn’t stop fighting, they burned me.” He pulled up his sleeve, exposing a trail of scars across his arm—small, circular burns that dotted his skin like a grotesque pattern. “Cigarettes. Every time I screamed, every time I fought, they’d burn me. Said it’d teach me a lesson.”
Raja’s breathing was uneven now, his body trembling with barely suppressed fury. “Tales...” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
