Throne of Wolves

Throne of Wolves

I nodded stiffly, still buzzing from the feeling of his lips on my skin and wanting more. He sent a cheeky smirk my way before grabbing my hand in his and pulling me in the direction of his territory. We held hands as we walked back to his territory through unclaimed land, where rogues were free to roam. Rogues are wolves that have either left their pack or been kicked out. They were ruthless, soulless werewolves who don't care about rules or authority. When we finally made it to Dark Apollo's territory, Bryan's Beta Andrew met us by the border. He welcomed me back, before telling Bryan about something to do with the pack business.

I lift my head slightly whilst we are walking and take in the view in front of me. Dimetrius is built like a warrior god. He has muscles built upon muscles and his skin is ridiculously tanned from all the heat radiating from the Lava flowing through the city. His arse is perfectly round and his pants are slightly too tight, allowing me to visualize exactly what I will see and feel under there the moment we get behind closed doors. I can feel the heat building in my core with every step closer we take, my heart rate is quickening as I’m visualising slamming him against the wall. Out here he is the master, but not behind closed doors.

ROGUE

I clung onto his shirt for dear life and the sound of my sobs filled the silence around us. "I do love it when I know someone's weakness. I love it even more when I can use that weakness against someone," Jonah said casually and, even though I wasn't looking at him, I could practically hear the smirk in his voice. "You should have listened to your mate Ellie. You are only bringing a whole load more trouble in your direction." I couldn't stop myself from shaking and I couldn't push the violent images from my mind. The images of my father dying all over again. The images of part of the castle burning to the ground and the screams which echoed around the space as people burned to death. The ima

I pointed to the lifeless bodies of Rob and Marilyn. "Aiden, there are main characters, antagonists, and extras in a play. Usually, the extras perish. They were only there as extras." As if this was a drama for him, he explained. "So this is play for you? You are a psychopath, Javier!" I said through clenched teeth. "Woah! Hold on! Why do you keep referring to him as Javier?" William inquired again, his face annoyed. Fiona looked at Eric as if he had grown horns. She was visibly trembling.

Weeping Willow was a vampire dominated city, almost everyone was a vampire. Human settlements were really few due to the lack of communication with the outside world. It was wanted that way so that we could survive without worrying about the human government. It was the same way in every state and country, there was always a vampire territory for our kind. In Sydney it was Weeping Willow for us, the high order had given it to us. Yes there were lycans in weeping willow but they stayed just beyond the Crescent forest, the forest that served as fortress to us in case of emergency. I lived in the slums of weeping willow, a small village just before the Crescent forest named after the forest. Cr

We consequently yelled, raising our glasses like some sort of pact. "To us, the pole strippers" She yelled as she laughed, rather loudly. "That gives us away too easily" I replied. "-the vamps" Jacq interrupted, hefting her glass a second time. "Too cliché" Wu eye rolled, bringing out her stash of blow. "Well, we can certainly cheer to one thing" I said as i held up her glass. "None of our lives is really a cliché" "To us, the vamps" I raised my glass again with a smile.

Amid, all the conventional stories, VAMP fearlessly holds its ground. I sincerely appreciate the author for hitting an unconventional world background blended with a murder mystery. Excellent book, I would definitely continue to to see how the story unfolds. 5/5 for the notable efforts.

Revenge

Revenge

The attention he was giving his keyboard made me want to take his laptop and throw it out of the window. "See I was really hurt and the only option that I wanted to willingly take was revenge and when I saw you I took that choice. But you though were a jerk to me, you also cared for me and that put me in a dilemma. The day you came with me for graduation I knew I was falling for you and the thirst for revenge was quenched. Then everything changed really fast. I promise I was completely honest about my feelings but then the day came when the files were returned and he showed me the video, I was confused. I didn't know who to believe and who not to. My decision was rash and I know I had to tru

She was 21 years old, with a beautiful face and an outgoing personality. My friend said that my looks, character, family background, and education all far surpassed hers. "She's got nothing on you except for that overwhelming sense of youth." I was almost 28. Youth was no longer on my side. Realizing this, I felt defeated and hurt, unsure of where Tristan and I were heading. It wasn't until I saw the post that I understood. Chloe wasn't the root of the problem. What he was drawn to was the sense of novelty. If not her, it would be someone else.

Just feeling the caffeine enter my body was good enough. "Feeling better?" Hunt asked, leaning forward and drinking from his own mug. I nodded and then got down to finishing the rest of my sandwich and coffee. When I was done, I felt warm inside and happy too. It'd been long since I'd felt either of those things. "We'll be moving the traps further into the woods this year," a burly man in a red and black plaid shirt said as he walked into the store with a rifle in his large hand. He wore a dirty brown cap over his head with thin strands of dark hair sticking out front underneath. There was something about him that reeked of danger. I could smell it all over him along with the strong stench o
