“Thanks. I’ve been learning a lot.” Xavier reached across and kissed her hand. “You’re incredible. I’m so proud of you.” Cynthia felt a warmth that had nothing to do with the food. Cooking had become her escape, her challenge, her joy — and now, sharing it with Xavier, it became part of the life she was building for herself. She realized that happiness could be quiet, simple, and self-made, and that pursuing her own passions didn’t take away from her love or marriage; it only made her stronger, more confident, more whole.

*TESSA* I sighed into his chest. “I should go prepare dinner now.” He nodded and let go of me. I walked into the kitchen with a smile on my face. I was so happy as I prepared some steak. It was as if I was having such a wonderful dream…a dream I never want to wake up from. But the most joyful part was that it was real. It was as if all the pain and sadness has been washed away to be replaced by happiness and joy.

The chef protested. “Of course I know it's your work but let me do it, at least for today,” I said to him. He didn't look convinced enough, but he still let me do that as he takes the food away with the nanny trailing behind him. Cooking was one of those things that brought me joy whenever I felt like my life was drowning like I was tearing apart one by one. Once I cook I become a greater version of myself and now that I have done this, there is this happiness I'm feeling right now.

Ahaan is in the room thinking about Anaya, he just cut the call after talking to Anaya, he asked about her cut and pain, she is busy with her meeting so she replied shortly that she is alright and does not take stress about her. Ahaan was feeling guilty, she is doing everything, earning morning, doing household chores, he is not helping her, not at all. He then decided he will do some thing for her. Ahaan was thinking about what to do to help Anaya, some thing clicked in his mind. He decided to cook for her so she will be at ease. But he is confused as he did not know how to cook, so he opens the TV, and changes into a cooking show. In the show, the chef was teaching to make chappati and pan

When I heard they were cooking, I didn’t think it would turn out to be spectacular. There were pulling each other’s legs but I know it’s because they missed each other. I feel like there's really nothing that he cannot do. And I'm just glad and happy. It's so delicious. I can't even believe it! How did you learn how to cook, what is your recipe? I say to Cult and he begins to laugh. I love the way he smiles. There's just so much joy in his eyes when he does that. Tears almost crawl out of my eyes because of how amazing it is. I want to be around them for much longer.

After they finished cooking, Stephan admired their culinary creations with a sense of accomplishment. He turned the gas cooker off and, looking admiringly at her, he smiled proudly. "I mean, who would have thought I would love cooking this much?" he said excitement twinkling in his eyes. Ruby returned his smile, delighted to see Stephan embracing their cooking lessons. "I'm glad to hear that, Stephan. Cooking can be quite rewarding," she replied, her tone warm and encouraging. "Wow, these pancakes turned out amazing!" Stephan exclaimed, taking a bite with gusto.

But then again, I did have a pretty good day at the office, even if everyone keeps making a bigger deal out of it than it really is. I feel… giddy. Like a kid after getting a gold star on her homework. Cooking has always been my way of celebrating—a trait Mom passed down to me. She used to say that the secret ingredient to every great dish was joy. Cheesy, but true. My fingers hover over a neatly wrapped pack of lamb chops, considering it. But what if he’s in the mood for something heartier? Pork might be safer... “Need a little help young lady?” The soft voice startles me, breaking through my spiraling thoughts. I turn toward the source and freeze, blinking in surprise.

I should brag about this, don’t you think? I cook whenever I am upset, or in deep thoughts. I also cook because of the fun that is in cooking, the joy and happiness of mixing various ingredients in a pot and turning it into a masterpiece. That’s the joy I find in cooking. It probably isn’t the best thing for a guy to do but… I still love it.

I know I am a cook but I am always sad to cook because I think cooking here is a suicide mission, you stay in the kitchen all day and almost get burnt every time, what is the joy in cooking when you also almost get cooked with the food?” the chef lamented “And you also get to eat nothing but leftovers, those bunch of stingy royal idiots” another added and they all roared with laughter once again
