I'd have to make do with what I had. I knew I should have shifted first. The vampire seemed to reach the same conclusion I had. He smirked arrogantly, and left his defensive crouch. He sauntered forward slowly, believing that I'd just sit back and die easily. He was in for a big surprise. I launched myself forward and slammed into his rock-hard body, knocking him back against the tiled wall. His head smacked against it, denting the plaster, but it didn't seem to faze him the slightest bit. His hand quickly shot forward, connecting solidly with my already sore jaw. There was a loud crack, and I spun away from him, tripping over the body on the floor, landing in a heap beneath the sink.

“Over my dead body.” The void around Lyra’s hand condensed into a jagged spear. “That can be arranged.” --- Scene 2: Battle of Light and Shadow Lyra hurled the spear of darkness, and Aiden countered with a blazing arc of light. The two forces collided in a deafening explosion, sending shockwaves rippling through the valley. Trees splintered like matchsticks, and a dozen wolves were thrown back. Iris gritted her teeth, her fingers glowing faintly as she summoned the twin energies inside her. She raised her hands, and two streams of power—one gold, one black—unfurled like wings. “I won’t let you take them, Lyra. This ends now.”

He did not say a word just a solid head nod to know that it was okay. In a flash of golden light Glory blurred in and out of sight fighting and moving far too fast for the eyes of a mortal to comprehend. But Jake was able to get a few glimpse on what was going on, he sees Glory’s claws scratching at the vampires eye and across his throat and she was on the verge of winning when she paused for a moment. The vampire seized the moment and swatted Glory with the back of his right, and she flew across the forest and ended up hitting a tree off in the distance.

Rose's POV A surge of adrenaline coursed through my veins, propelling me into action. With a primal roar, I unleashed my strength, fighting tooth and nail to protect my child. The battle raged on, the clash of fangs and claws echoing through. I dodged a ferocious lunge from a massive werewolf, its snarling maw inches from my face. Reacting swiftly, I pivoted on my heels and delivered a swift kick to its midsection, sending it sprawling backward. The moonlight gleamed on its bloodstained fur as it howled in pain.

Yvonne asked me to focus on a beam of light on the ceiling. I concentrated on the light. After a few minutes, she asked gently, “Who are you?” “Aurora Twilight.” “Do you know Harry Chalamet?” “Yes, I do.” “No, you don’t.” “I do. I know him. No… I don’t know him.” “You don’t know him.” “I… don’t know him.”

The question lingered in the air - would he fight for Bella? Without hesitation, I launched myself at my father, the sound of the cracking marble floor echoing through the room. My claws sliced through the air, targeting his throat, but he effortlessly dodged my attack. With a swift punch, he sent me crashing into the banquet table, the impact reverberating through my body.

Blood spurted, and he staggered back. Taking advantage of his momentary weakness, I leapt onto him. My fangs sank into his arm, effectively pinning him to the ground. His scream was drowned out by the cacophony of battle around us. Through the chaos, I saw fleeting glimpses of Kayden and Jayden, embroiled in their own fierce struggles. Even Eamon, Faelan, and Declan were deeply engaged, their faces a mixture of concentration and concern.

Also, I can't keep hiding like a cowered while watching m friends fighting against each other. The moment Lucas launches himself on Chris, the werewolves and the squad started fighting against each other. Lazarus and Cassia were circling Noah who was dodging their attacks in a swift way. While the twins were fighting against Keyla. They were both manipulating fire and water while she was attacking using both. Dawn was fighting against Vikky, while Celest and Liam were trying to kill each other. As for Emily, she was killing each and every vampire guard that comes to her sight. They were all fighting equally in a good way. Except for Lucas and Chris, Lucas was the one in control.

The two were locked in combat, their powers colliding in a whirlwind of light and shadow. Blackthorn retaliated with a wave of shadows, aiming for Alex’s legs. The tendrils coiled around him, attempting to bring him down. But Alex, with sheer strength, tore through them, sending shards of darkness scattering like dust. “I won’t let you take her!” he roared, his voice echoing with determination. Blackthorn’s eyes narrowed, his expression twisting into one of rage. “You think you can protect her? I’ll show you just how powerless you are!” With a swift motion, he unleashed a psychic attack, his Nightmare Projection wrapping around Alex’s mind, exploiting his deepest fears.

I look on with absolute awe from the backseat in our mind, I now occupy. The rogue snarls at us, but Dawn growls back fiercely. I slightly notice Tristan moving to Blake and looking him over, but that is from our connection as mates more than anything else. Dawn’s sole target and focus is on the rogue. He is not attacking, but waiting for something. Dawn on the other hand does not seem to want to wait. She jumps forward and swipes her claws over his chest. This sets him off and he attacks sloppily. Dawn dodge everything, moving with deadly precision. ‘Where did you learn to fight like this?’ I ask her, and she laughs over our mental connection.
