I feel my energy draining little by little as my eyelids get heavier. Dustin arrived worried but I felt as if I was paralyzed as I slowly let go of Idris's clothes that almost dragged his skin because I held it tightly. My vision turns black as I close my eyes and Idris removed his hand from my mouth. A warm hand gripped my left palm then arranged my hair behind my ear. I wanted to move and open my eyes but I felt dizzy.

The noise that accompanied the storm was deafening; hardly could one hear the other. We sat silent as the storm raged. There was no need talking as we could not hear what the other was saying. The rain soon followed. It was such a heavy downpour. The weather became chilly as a result. Esther started dozing. She tried very hard not to fall asleep, but she couldn’t help it at last.
