Two More Days Colleen Hoover Novels & Stories

Okay, so I read 'Two More Days' for the book club last month. The consensus was pretty split. It's a novella, right? I think a lot of people go in expecting a full-blown Hoover emotional hurricane and find it too brief. For me, the length worked. It's tense and claustrophobic, focusing on those last couple of days before a wedding where everything unravels. You're stuck in the main character's spiraling anxiety, which Hoover nails. It's not as sprawling or twisty as 'It Ends With Us,' but it does that thing where you feel simultaneously annoyed by and deeply sympathetic to the protagonist.

I'd say it's worth an afternoon if you're already a fan and want a quick, anxious read. It's more of a mood piece than a plot-heavy novel. The ending left me a bit cold, though—I wanted a bigger resolution, but maybe that was the point. It just sort of... stops. I still think about some of the dialogue weeks later.

That one's about a woman who buys a concert T-shirt from a guy after a breakup, and their connection unfolds from there. The characters felt very real, kind of messy and hopeful in a way Hoover nails.
