His voice was deadly, low and shaking with barely controlled fury. I swallowed hard, forcing myself to meet Tyler’s blazing eyes. “It’s true. I saw it. He’s the leak.” The room went silent except for Ronan’s ragged breathing and the echo of my words. The first traitor had been exposed. And we all knew there might be more. (Tyler’s POV) Ronan struggled in the chair, but Camerin’s hand on his shoulder kept him pinned like a nail hammered into wood. His breath came fast, sweat rolling down his temples. For the first time, his mask of calm was gone.

I try to get up from the chair to see who entered. In between the reporters and camera flashes, I see a tall man in a black suit. The scene looks similar to the scene of a gigantic ship crushing minor boats and sailing ahead. He walks in straight like an Egyptian God, not giving a flying fuck to anyone. Reporters chant his name 'Ryan, one pic. Ryan', but he didn’t turn. His aura is powerful like a hunter, so deadly and dangerous. He seems to fill the space around him like some dark entity. I didn’t notice myself shifting on the chair, the temperature is getting hotter of my seat automatically, boiling my bottom.

I muttered. “No,” He corrected softly. “I’m telling you he’s an obsessed idealist who placed you on a pedestal, then cracked when you didn’t stay where he expected.” I swallowed, throat dry. “So he’s after me?” He shook his head slowly. “He’s after Tyler.” The room went very still. “Why?” Ronan pulled out another sheet—this one filled with printed messages, short and clipped but loaded with venom that made my vision blur with anger. “Because in his mind,” Ronan said carefully, “Tyler took you away from hockey. From your career. From the version of you he was obsessed with. He thinks Tyler corrupted you. Ruined you.”

His voice was full of teasing, his mouth twisted into a grin. I looked up from my plate. “What?” He smirked. “Declan. You’ve been staring at him like you’re trying to read his soul.” Derrick chuckled from across the table. “Maybe Ronan’s got a crush.” I rolled my eyes, but Tyler laughed even harder. “Oh, don’t look at me like that, mate. Even the mighty Ronan can fall for someone, you know.” “It’s not that,” I muttered, though my voice came out sharper than I intended. “There’s something strange about him. My wolf feels it. He’s… different.”

I said, nodding my head to him. He looked surprised that I would know his name. Tyer stood right about 6’0 tall, curly brown hair came down to his ears, highlighting his facial features. His brown eyes lit up when I mentioned his name. “Yes, Luna. Tyler at your service,” he said, opening the door for us. Tyler was Tyree’s twin brother. That was how I realized who he was, but there was no way that I was about to tell him that. “Thank you, Tyler,” I said as we passed. Kai chuckled through the link, but I just ignored him.

His hand rested lightly on the curve of my waist, grounding and maddening all at once. “I see that our Luna has been training you.” Nolan said, choosing to direct his question to the children who are watching excitedly. “And I can tell if this is how your training is starting, then I'm going to have a stronger league on my line, aren't I?” I tilted my face up, ready to ask what the hell he was doing. I wanted to ask what he was doing, but the smile that was on his face was one that I never saw. Even the children were happy to see him like this.

I'm not in the mood for whatever party nonsense he wants to share. But something makes me pick up. "You need to see this," Tyler says without greeting. His voice sounds strange. Shaky.
