The next thing I knew, I was walking beside the fields again, towards my favorite spot. I sat under the oak tree, relishing the peace and tranquility it radiates from its roots to leaves. I wouldn't want summer to end. Fall comes next, then winter arrives. The cold, dark and mysterious winter. I hope the sky could be carefree and humid every day, unlike wintertime.

She says as she ushers Gabby and me in. We walk in and after a few steps. We stand properly to see a field completely covered with oak trees. Leaving a very portable vacancy/space in the middle and we find people sitting around a campfire. People amongst which are Desmond, Ekene, and Timothy, and Desmond's upper left arm is wrapped in cloth. "Welcome to Oaklin valley! "Dana says enthusiastically with her arm widespread.

I cross the dark room, catch the curtain fluttering in the wind and look out of the window. There’s a thick oak tree growing right in front of the house, its branches so close to the walls that they have to be trimmed every spring. I look down and, through the maze of leaves, I see a slim figure in a dark hoodie let go of the lowest branch and jump to the ground with a muffled thump. Raven.

Oak clears his throat into the microphone, and I know it's time. Fuck. This is crazy. We expect a bit of backlash from students' parents, too, once it becomes common knowledge, but Oak believes it won't be as bad as I'd expect. "Welcome back to the Syndicate Academy. Lucas' POV The chill night air tore at my cloak as I stood beneath the branches of the great oak that dominated the hill top. It was deserted for miles around and the elevated topography made it possible to see and scent anyone for miles before they were even close. It was perfect for meetings others weren't supposed to hear. "Omega." I snapped. An annoyed growl that came from behind me before the bone chilling sounds of transformation.

' I asked, already knowing the answer deep in my bones. Hanna lowered her head and walked into the forest after Rowan and Troy. When we caught up to him, Duck was digging against the base of a huge oak tree, its roots snaking several yards around its base as it towered over us. Suddenly, they were all healed. Meanwhile in a different scene, The other faceless figure, the one who had ventured into the forest, moved with a quiet determination through the dense undergrowth. Sunlight dappled through the leaves, but the air was heavy with a sense of foreboding. The figure walked with a strong sense of determination towards a specific tree, an ancient oak bearing strange orange fruit. He reached out and gently placed his moon chain against the trunk of the tree. The forest floor trembled. The surrounding trees seemed to sway in unison, as if acknowledging a powerful presence of the moon chain.

Amelia's POV As I made my way through the forest, the familiar sight of the towering oak tree greeted me like an old friend. Its gnarled branches reached out to me, casting dappled shadows upon the forest floor as if beckoning me closer. With each step, the soft crunch of leaves beneath my feet echoed through the tranquil air, a comforting melody that soothed my restless soul. The canopy above filtered the sunlight into a dappled mosaic of light and shadow, casting a sense of enchantment over the secluded grove where the ancient oak stood sentinel.
