Underworld Deities Greek Novels & Stories

The man replied in a gravelly voice, “I don’t know if she’s alive or dead” She didn’t know much about the underworld. As she was under the tight protection of her step father, she’d never had to think about silly things like omegas escaping. But everyone had heard rumors, of a secret group of people, holes and boxes in every house, helping omegas escape their lives and miseries to the free land of Paraguay. Every member of the underground had code names rooted in Greek, Roman and Egyptian mythology. She knew from her college lit classes that Charon was a ferryman who brought dead souls across the river to the world of the dead.

I look back down as I lick my teeth with another growl as I get off the bitch and point at her. “You’re dead.” I snarl at her. “Nina, what did you do?” Asteria still has hold of me as she turns to face the siren. “Nothing, she attacked me.” she whimpers and I laugh and so does my dad. “Do you have any idea who she or he is?” Asteria points to me and my dad and the siren shakes her head. “She is Gaia, the Goddess of Hell and Harbinger of Death. He is Fenrir, her father. So I will ask you again. What. Did. You. Do?”

“Why in the world would you hide my soul there?” I asked in astonishment. “Isn’t that where the Titans were banished to?” The Greek mythology of gods and goddesses is real and so are the rest. Unlike what each religion believes, that only their gods or goddesses exist is false. All deities that both humans and wolves worship exist and they do co-exist with each other. No deity is false but there are those that are more powerful than others and there're those that blend with each other.

"It's never a good idea to pry on dead people, Guinevere. Especially not here in the underworld." Before she could ask more, Henrietta stormed out of her chamber, but her last sentence bothered her. If that woman was dead she was either on the three realms. Is she in the underworld? Does Hades still see her? He's the god of the underworld. He should be able to arrange for them to meet. But in her stay in the underworld, she hadn't seen any woman with Hades.

As Kari was being introduced to other members of the council, King Triton got my attention.

“This goes several millennia ago when humans first came to be. Apart from animals and your flora and fauna, the earth was also inhibited by beings called the ‘Old Gods‘.“ “Old Gods?“ “Yes, the old Gods, or what mythology calls the Titans & Olympians. You have surely heard of them, Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, and the list goes on. These Old Gods were deities of unique elements that represent nature and life, like Poseidon was the God of Sea, Ares was the God of War, and of course, Zeus was the chief deity amongst them, the God of Sky and the atmosphere.“ My head is going to burst. My father's power was formidable, and we needed all the help we could get to defeat him. As we descended into the depths of the Underworld, the air grew thick with the stench of brimstone and decay. We navigated through treacherous landscapes, avoiding the grasp of lurking demons and other malevolent creatures. Finally, we arrived at the throne room of the three rulers: Hades, the Lord of the Dead; Hel, the Queen of the Damned; and Anubis, the Guardian of the Gates. Their combined power was feared throughout the realms, and we hoped to gain their favor.
