Novel & Cerita Unexpected Bond

The pain was getting worse, spreading from my chest outward. Vida arrived in her nightgown, took one look at me, and swore. "The bond is rejecting itself." "What does that mean?" I gasped. "It means you three have been bonded too long without completing the marking. The incomplete connection is destabilizing. Your body is treating it like a strange presence, trying to push it out." "So complete the marking," Daxon said.

Her mouth fell open like such a thing was beyond comprehension. "Of course we do, we just have a different name for him," Seth replied, and then to change the subject, added, "Can you sense what I'm feeling?" Ale closed her eyes for a moment before answering. "Curious and slightly concerned?" "Pretty much," Seth said. "So this bond thing is real then." Ale nodded. "Is there any way to break it?" "As far as I know, these bonds are unbreakable. They might get weaker with time and distance, but they never go away until you die. What concerns me more is how fast it's growing."

“Neither did I.” Before Aiden could respond, James returned, holding an old, tattered book. “I found something,” he said, his voice urgent. “There’s a section here about the ‘sacred marks.’ It says they appear when an ancient bond is disturbed, usually a bond that was never meant to be broken.” “What does that mean?” I asked, my heart pounding in my chest. James’s eyes darted between Aiden and me, his expression grim. “It means the rejection didn’t sever the bond. It only made it stronger.”

I mumble, and Garrett glances at Jannah while blushing. "Is that it," Kohn asks, and I nod. I run through the list in my head one more time. Long life, packlink, and mates. I hope that's it.....Wait... "One more thing. A matebond can be broken. If both mates reject each other, the bond will break. But both of them have to do it. If only one rejects the bond, it remains intact," I finish, and Beerus sighs within my head. Beerus- I thought you forgot.

Waiting. I reach for his hand without thinking. It's an instinct older than words. My body knows it belongs next to his, even like this. Especially like this. Through the bond, I feel nothing but static. Usually the bond is a channel. Thoughts flow both directions. Right now there's nothing but white noise and distance and the terrible certainty that something between us has broken. "The bond," I say to Kieran. "Is he still connected to me?" "He's connected," Kieran says. "But the connection is buried under everything else."

Right into place, exactly like it did before, only now it feels so tangible that I swear I could reach out and touch it. The bond. A sob tears from my throat, tears slipping from my eyes as I’m overwhelmed by a torrent of emotions. They’re suddenly amplified tenfold, crashing like waves in an ocean storm, so strong that it feels like they’re about to pull me under. “Baby,” Callum whispers, cupping my face and thumbing my tears from my cheeks. “The bond,” I croak, my voice thick with emotion. “It’s…” “It came back,” he rasps incredulously.

Lucian’s hand is already there, flat on the table, and mine lands beside it, not touching, just near, the way we are near each other, always, without requiring contact to be present. “A fullbond,” I say. “The rarest kind,” Bowen says. “Documented in Ironveil’s history twice before. Both times between lines that had been apart for generations and reconnected.” He closes the book carefully. “It is why the rejection did not quiet it. It is why the bond persisted through everything. A fullbond cannot be severed by words in a clearing.” He pauses. “It can only be completed or carried.” “We are carrying it,” Lucian says.

“This can’t be happening.” My monster remained completely still before speaking again. Perhaps… “What?” Perhaps because our original body died… the bond died with it. I swallowed hard. “…That makes sense.” No. There is another possibility. Hope returned immediately. “What?” The bond is still there. “But something is blocking it.” Blocking it? He nodded. It’s weak… unbelievably weak… but I can almost sense something beyond whatever is standing between us. I frowned. “So what do we do?” My monster didn’t answer immediately.

he asked skeptically. A spark of determination appeared in Alexa’s eyes as she explained her plan. “Leonard, we’re connected at a deeper level. We can share thoughts. I can reach him through our minds. It’s risky, but this might be the only way to get in touch with him.” Leonard’s eyebrows shot up in surprise, and he looked uncertain. He had never seen the mind-linking ability before and didn’t really understand how strong their bond was. Just as he started to doubt, a knock on the door interrupted them.

I asked and he nodded before again walking inside the company. Weird! I thought and laughed at the memory of our first meeting when I called him weird and got a reply with word ‘weirder’. And then a few punches and then a beer bottle and then friendship. I took my mobile out and got into the needed things to get this friendship back if possible and also to stop this torture on Maha who doesn’t have anything to do with any of this. *Swathi Pov* “No!” I said, shaking my head. “Sweety! This is an amazing news.” He said, but I held my phone tightly.
