See You My Mate Novels & Stories

I bite my lip and try to think of the perfect mate. "She is special if she puts up with you". Brian laughs and Liam joins him. My best friends are so immature. Smiling in satisfaction I lay my head back and think of my mate.

I pulled my arm from his grip and ran. “Athena what’s wrong” My mum walked from behind me pulling my face up to look at her, tears streaming down my face most certainly smearing my makeup. “Hector isn’t my… my mate” I sobbed. “Oh, baby it will be ok. I’m going to take a guess and say you know this because you have found your mate here. Am I right?” I didn’t answer just nodded my head. “Meeting your mate Athena is a good thing, have you spoken to him?”

“I thought I was gonna lose you and that scared me shitless.” She smiled. "So you cried?" Yeah, story of my life. “When you get well, you're coming home with me,” I said, watching her keenly to see her reaction. I hope it won't be a blatant disapproval. My poor heart won't be able to take it. “Home?” “My Pack. My house…” I paused. “...my mate.” She stared blankly at me and her smile faded. “I don't understand…” “I wanna officially make you my mate…”

My brother in everything but blood. I studied his expression. “Something’s bothering you.” His shoulders dropped slightly. “Is it that obvious?” “You wear your heart on your sleeve.” He rubbed the back of his neck, hesitating. “You already have so much to worry about. I didn’t want to add to it.” “That’s not a good excuse.” He sighed, defeated. “I found my mate.” I blinked in surprise. “That’s amazing.” But he didn’t smile. His eyes dimmed. “She’s dead.”

Repeating one word over and over again. “Mate. Mate. Mate.” It was our mate. He would definitely save us from the hell we have been living for the last 6 years. No way would he let anyone treat me the way I have been. My heart pounded in my chest, and I felt a trickle of sweat slip down my back. Suddenly my heart fell because after a minute, I saw those blue eyes shift from awed happy and excited, to hard cold and angry.

Cold shower for me it is! When I come back to my bedroom, there are 2 new messages. MATE: Did you have some plans for the weekend? MATE: I kinda miss you already. Strange, right? My heart bursts. I’m already falling for my mate. I miss you too babe. And no, we only have this pack meeting tomorrow but Sunday’s free. Want to come over? MATE: Okay. Okay as okay you wanna come over?? MATE: sure. :) Good night babe, talk to you in the morning.

He lit a cigarette while walking to the road. I limped on the road while following him. My legs were hurting like hell. I could not walk anymore. I halted my steps and realized we had come to the alley near the club. I could only see him under the yellowish light of the streetlamp. "Mate" I called him with a loud voice so that he could hear me. When he stopped walking, my heart skipped a beat. I gulped, feeling nervous. We were no longer strangers. Because now we were mates.

But the moment their eyes met across the fire, something shifted. Brian stilled, his laughter fading instantly. He hadn’t sensed Alex arrive until his scent slipped past the smoke and straight into his lungs—a sweet, familiar whisper that gripped his core. Then, it hit him. That pull. That bone-deep, soul-aching tug in his chest that nearly brought him to his knees. His alpha instincts surged to the surface, screaming one word over and over. Mate. They stared at each other in stunned silence as the world blurred around them. The music, the crowd, the fire—everything disappeared. All that remained was the invisible thread between them, tugging tighter, calling louder.

They can’t be if they are already each other's. Cam- Ready to meet our mate? Temperance- So, he is here? Cam- Yep! “Cam says my mate is here,” Temperance smiles at Sebastian. “Cole says the same thing,” Sebastian smiles at Temperance. The clock rings midnight, and the pack gasps as both, Temperance and Sebastian, say “MATE.”
