Unwanted Mate

Unwanted Mate

It was just too good to be true for me. And what was that that Miss Aurora had warned me off about the man? That was the fact that he was highly unpredictable. The way he was being nice today, he might not be that way tomorrow. He might wake up and decide that the guards should throw me into a burning fire and when half of my skin was gone, he would ask them to bring me out. Worse, he might order them to pour some salt on the wound. No, it was just too risky for me to try and believe him. I still like my head attached to my neck very much, thank you.

Marcus I was stunned by the list of people from my pack that signed up to join the human army. Most of the people that signed up were people on our side of the fence. Significantly few people from the outside pack signed up. It was amazing to see how ungrateful the people on our side were. The outer packs had experienced human cruelty first-hand. They were obviously on high alert. They were barely up to fifty that signed up from those packs. The rest were from my territory. It was time to go to the Eclipse pack and make some moves.

Updating my prior review but if you all aren’t reading this story, YOU’RE NUTS! With characters you love, hate, and love to hate, this story has it all. Betrayal, smut, intrigue, a bit more smut and smoking hot leads, I ate this story up. Read it! Totally worth the coins! You won’t regret reading!

I really enjoyed this book, and the characters in it. The plots were complex and kept me guessing. Imagine my surprise when I came all the way to the end and discovered the book was never finished! There apparently haven’t been any updates in over 6 months. Very disappointing.

Unwanted Mate

“I am sorry that Mother doesn’t approve of this union, but I can’t help it.” Trald shook his head. “It hasn’t got anything to do with your mother,” he said, as he placed a napkin on his lap. “My General informed me that Borgan is about to attack! So I have to be there when it happens. I have come to talk to you about it, but since it is your big day tomorrow, I will handle it myself.” Saying that he dug his fork into chocolate pastry. “What the hell?” Tova was stunned at the way his father was playing so cool. How did Borgan choose such a vulnerable time to attack? “Why has Melanie gone back so suddenly?” he asked.

I'm loving it, quite captivating how the characters talk to each other and I like how the author has made the wee lass sound exactly how us Highlanders are. Not like someone from Glasgow or over the top.

I have lived for these books over the past week. Thank you to the author for bringing some life back into me! As cringe as it sounds, I have a newborn baby and a busy life, this has been such a wonderful escape. Thank you again!

she exclaimed, disappointment etched on her face. Marianne's mind had been preoccupied with the day's news - an unplanned pregnancy, unwanted by her boyfriend, Greg. For ten years, six months, and twelve days, Greg had emphasized the struggles of raising their daughter, Rose. He never seemed ready for the responsibility, making Marianne feel like she had forced him into parenthood. Despite her stability and readiness for another child, Greg's reluctance loomed large.

The Billionaire's Unexpected Engagement

The Billionaire's Unexpected Engagement

All I could do was stand tongue tied, looking stupid. I decided I would make an announcement on social media later on, telling the world I wasn’t engaged to Kevin. I didn’t care whether or not it would embarrass him. I was up to my eyeballs in work when my phone rang. I didn’t recognize the number. “Hello?” I answered. “You blacklisted my number? Seriously? Not fair!” It was Kevin. “What is it Kevin? What do you want? I have told you I want nothing to do with you.” “I am sorry about what I said yesterday. Please go with me to the charity event.”

The Unexpected Fated Mate

The Unexpected Fated Mate

And she knew the dangers of what might be blooming between them. If Anna was what Vivienne feared she was—and if fate had somehow brought her and Michael together—then everything Vivienne did twenty-eight years ago would unravel in an instant. The cloak. The spell. The secret. All of it would collapse. She didn’t know whether Michael loved the girl, but if the bond formed—if she turned out to be his fated mate and that mark was ever made—there would be no turning back. Not for him. Not for Anna. And not for the world that lay hidden behind the veil of humans and politics.

The Bride He Bought

The Bride He Bought

Lorenzo who I absolutely forgot is in the room with us, chimes in, “This is what I warned you about. Rushing the engagement was a sloppy move, Mr Moretti. The foundation of your relationship with her wasn't properly laid. No time to build the narrative. And now look...” “This is not the time for a lecture.” I cut him off sharply, rising to my feet. Lorenzo flinches a little, but continues anyway, “No, but you need a reality check. You underestimated how deep people are watching you. Your name is money, your moves are headlines. You should have known better.” My jaw clenches. “The public bought the story. The engagement trended. There were no red flags until today. So no. It wasn't an oversig

I DIED RICH AND WOKE UP PREGNANT

I stared at the blank screen for a full minute before I leaned back in my chair. “She is getting engaged tonight,” Max, my best friend, said from across the office, his tone too casual for the bomb he had just dropped. “Orion Vale is finally putting a ring on it. ” He continued. He was baiting a reaction out of me and I could feel myself falling for it. “Hmm.” I replied, keeping my voice even. “Good for her.” Max raised an eyebrow. “That is all you have to say?” “It’s not like she is married yet,” I replied. “She is getting engaged, Max. Not married. There is a significant difference. Engagements can be broken. That means she is still free game. You probably don't understand semantics becaus

Thom again. “They’re planning the menu. Birthday roast. Fireworks. Big announcement.” “I heard.” “You’re not going to fight?” She looked up. “What would I be fighting for? A man who let another woman wear the flower I nearly died for?” Silence. “Then what now?” Sepharine stood. “Now I choose myself.” --- In her room, she drafted a letter. > To Lady Walfson, > > I respectfully request the engagement be dissolved. Lord Draven is restored. I am no longer needed.

Ever stumbled into a rom-com plot in real life? 'Accidentally Engaged' feels like that—a delightful mess of misunderstandings and simmering chemistry. Reena, a passionate foodie with dreams of her own cooking show, gets roped into a fake engagement with her neighbor Nadim to win a couples' cooking contest (and the prize money she desperately needs). The catch? She can't stand him at first. But as they navigate spicy banter, family expectations, and shared kitchen disasters, their pretend romance starts feeling alarmingly real.

The book’s charm lies in how it layers cultural nuances (Reena’s conservative Muslim family adds hilarious pressure) with food metaphors that’ll make you hungry. It’s not just about love; it’s about reclaiming agency—Reena’s journey from people-pleaser to someone who demands her own happiness had me cheering. And Nadim? Picture a grumpy cinnamon roll with a secret heart of gold. Their slow burn is the kind you savor, like a perfectly simmered curry.
