Well, that notification was for a bounty.” Charms said her voice trembli

I finally found it, but so did he, and somehow, we ended up saying it in unison. “Electric.” “Right,” I said, feeling like I’d just been zapped by something electric. Kaden laughed and took another sip of his water, which made the sudden awkwardness I felt disappear. “It feels like there’s possibility around every corner.” “It’s been a long time since I’ve thought of it that way,” he admitted, a wicked gleam entering his eyes. “Just be careful.
