“As long as he stays out of the way between me and Lindy then I will agree to your plans. And, as long as you aren’t going to hurt Lindy, I will lend you my help.” Bailey smiles widely, tricky and questionable, as she answers, “Don’t worry. Your sweet Lindy won’t get hurt.” Her mischievous grin told me that she cannot be trusted and that she had more plans she never really told me. She extends her hand to me and I accepted, “Deal.”
