She felt her breathe stuck, somewhere down her throat that could not escape, just like the air that was forced to stay outside her system. Her hands scraped his wrists, trying their utmost to pull his hand away, but to no avail his hold only became stronger, his wrath only stormier. She saw the black spots before she felt the unconsciousness engulfing her senses.

My eyes scanned the message as my heart kicked against my chest. “ No.” I gasped, I didn't want this to be true, it was short and cruel. It wasn't like him and I couldn't take this, so I decided to text him, I wasn't going to gobble it up like a coward and I was going to say something but I sent a text and I realized with a screamed, flabbergasted, “ Blocked!” I looked at it again, looking through the lines as I was in awe and screamed, “ I have been blocked.”

I checked the block list and found my correct number there. "A, someone messed my number on your phone so you felt like you were calling me but it wasn't. B, I’m on your block list so you couldn't receive my calls." I showed him. He surely had called me a lot and I did too but we both were unable to get in touch with each other.

I would assure her that I would pay and now I've gotten her fired from her job. “What can I do?” I asked, holding back the tears. “Pay up your loan!” the woman snapped. I nodded, “Alright, I will. But can you tell me why my cards were blocked?” The woman smiled, “We’ve frozen your account. You won’t have access to it until you clear up your loan.” I gave her a tight smile, “Is it possible to give me access to my accounts? I need to settle some bills at home.” The woman smiled, “No.”

I quickly opened my settings, scrolled down to the blocked list, and tapped 'Unblock' right next to Luca's name. The second his name was cleared from the list, I immediately dialed his number and pressed the phone to my ear. It only rang twice before he picked up. "You finally unblocked me, Babes," Luca's deep voice came through the speaker, and I could literally hear the cocky, victorious smirk on his face. "I forgot I blocked you in the first place!" I said, a massive smile spreading across my lips. "I was just sitting here waiting for a message. Did you catch them? Did you find the George guy?"

Danielle was feeling gloomy and cursing her luck. “I just got his number with so much difficulty only to get blocked” She blamed herself for her present predicament. “If only I didn’t call him impulsively, he is obviously moody in the morning. I should have waited and called later. I was too excited” Sighed. Danielle sat down and was wondering if she should get a new number and call him later or find a way to make him unblock her number. “How do I even get him to unblock my number? I can’t even reach him” She hit her forehead lightly with her fingers.

She slid it back in. “Let’s try again.” Allen crossed his arms lightly as the machine processed. A second later, DECLINED. The cashier blinked. “Huh.” She turned the card over briefly. “Let me run it one more time.” Allen nodded. “Sure.” She inserted it again. The machine whirred and paused. DECLINED. The cashier looked up now, a hint of confusion crossing her face. “Sir… I think your card has been blocked.” Allen’s head lifted sharply. “What?”

I couldn't afford to play the hurt victim when my entire future was sitting on a deadline. I reached over and snatched my phone off the mattress. The screen glowed blindingly bright, lighting up the ceiling and my face in the pitch-black room. I unlocked it, swiped into settings, scrolled down to blocked numbers, and clicked on Carter’s contact card. I hit Unblock.

She could have taken it from Rose’s phone when she went to the bathroom or something so I shouldn’t be so quick as to judge her. “Alright then. I’ll tell her what you said when she comes back,” and she laughed. I hung up and looked at Jaden. “Where's she at?” “That’s the problem. For some reason, that call is blocked so I can’t figure out where exactly she’s calling from. I do know that if we decide to break the codes and we do that, it can bring an entirely different town than the one the person is in because of the network blocker.” What’s baffling is why would Helena have a network blocker?
