15 Trix jolted awake, furiously glancing around with wide eyes. She had returned to her bedroom. Everything as far as she could tell was back in place. Her laptop sat open, a few inches away from her. Remnants of the white powder sprinkled over it. Its screen was dark.

He accepted it wordlessly, the corner of his mouth lifting in gratitude. Mirra knelt beside them, pressing her palm into the moss. Her fingers sank into the soil as if she were listening. “It’s holding,” she whispered. “The corruption is fading.” The relief in her voice trembled between laughter and tears. Selene reached out, brushing the stray curls from her friend’s damp forehead, and Mirra looked up with eyes that shone like green glass in moonlight. “We did it,” she breathed, voice reverent.

He couldn't possibly have kept track of anything. "Eleven," Leo said, leaning close to Archer's ear. "We almost finished up a 12-pack box. Wanna guess where the 12th one is, hmm?" The cold aluminium foil was then pressed against Archer's lower stomach as Leo slowly inched it up his body.

I need to see them one last time” Lena fell from the bed in tears.

“Still it is good news after all. I thought this day was the worst but something happened at least” Jerika said. Jerika really and a tough day and she just wanted to get over with it but this day gets better… all thanks to Daulat and then to Brian too. She was so thankful that Brain woke up and she was also thankful to Daulat who came all the way to tell her the good news she needed to hear the most.
