Lexy turned to look at Ethan and repeated what she said, then she winked and left. “Whiskey…. Whiskey….” Ethan hurriedly rinsed his whole body, chanting the word whiskey mindlessly. It was not that he did not know what to do that the man was like silly saying the same word again and again as he was inside the shower, it was because Ethan was trying to scan his memory of which one was the best among the finished products and even the ones still in the laboratory of whiskey that he had seen in the company until recently. And just as he was about to get done, he remembered something. He rushed out of the bathroom with a very bright and bouncy mood.

I smirk, thinking to myself. I walk behind the bar and pull out a chilled glass from the fridge. The condensation tickles the tips of my fingers as it gradually trickles down the side of my hand. I reach for the bottle of whiskey and pour myself a generous dose over ice cubes as they sit in the bottom of the glass. I bring my drink up to my nose, sniffing the harsh aroma it offers as I swirl it around, creating a baby whirlpool. I take a large sip of the lavish liquor, closing my eyes savouring every moment as it deliberately slides down the back of my throat, swallowing it like a champ.

The aroma of the whiskey wafted up to greet me, and I took a slow, deliberate sip, relishing the familiar burn. As I swirled the whiskey in my glass, I couldn't help but think about the mess I had gotten myself into. The lies, the secrets, and the dangerous path I was treading weighed heavily on my conscience. But for now, all I could do was drown my doubts in the comforting embrace of alcohol. The bar's muted atmosphere, the low hum of conversation, and the occasional clink of glasses provided a temporary respite from the chaos of my life. I took another sip, the warmth of the whiskey spreading through my veins, momentarily numbing the guilt and fear that threatened to consume me.

Collecting it, I immediately chugged the whole glass down and winced at the bitter taste it left in my mouth. "Christ, what the hell was that?" I asked wiping my mouth with the sleeves of the shirt I was wearing, squeezing my face. This shit was worse than I expected, it was stronger than the normal whiskey you get at any club. He smirked, the side of this lips turning upside in some sort of a smile. "This is not funny." "It is not diluted Jul, this is pure whiskey and you are supposed to savor the taste not drown everything"
