Under the radiant glow of the full moon, Silver Moon Pack members gathered in the heart of their territory, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Moon Goddess. Alpha Jake, Luna Mara, and the rest of the werewolves stood in a circle, their eyes fixed on the heavens. As the minutes passed, a palpable sense of reverence filled the air.

The first one was a crescent moon with a swirling cloud thing behind it. The description was that we were called shadow pack, so it would make sense that we had a shadow of the moon to represent us. She then looked at the next one. It was two hands that looked to be made from shadows reaching for one another. Then she came to the last one.

The fresh bedsheet felt like I was lying on heaven’s couch, and the numerous pillows soothed my exhausted body. Looking up at the ceiling, I noticed a mural painting on it. I found it fascinating. The pointillism and brushwork told me it was impasto. A 19th-century painting of the moon goddess Selene features thin brush strokes and a depiction of light. Two wolves stayed on each side of Selene. And a full moon looking down on them. It seemed as though the moon goddess was joining the two wolves in holy matrimony. I wondered if the two wolves were Luna Bella and Alpha Atticus. They must have a beautiful love story - one I may never experience if it was.
