Turning My Life Around
I couldn't recall the exact details, but I might have wanted to play with him back then just because he was good-looking.
"Well, that surprised me. I thought you liked me because I bought your breakfast," I joked.
He stopped and stood in front of me, saying, "I'm sorry."
I had a huge question mark in my head. Why was he suddenly apologizing?
"Maybe this will surprise you too, but I like you," he confessed, then hurriedly walked away, leaving me utterly shocked.
I must have misheard him!
It wasn't until I returned home in the evening that I could hardly snap out of the shock caused by his words. For the first time, I experienced the agony of insomnia.
