“He’s my commander,” Korra muttered, though her stomach fluttered at the mention of his name. “He watches everyone.”
“Sure,” Mara teased, “and the moon only rises once a year.” She held up a dress of pale gray silk. “Wear this, it will match your eyes.”
Korra hesitated, her fingertips brushing over the fabric. “I can’t wear something like that…”
“You can,” Mara insisted. “And you will. The pack already talks about you, so you might as well give them something worth talking about.”
