“You’re giving me a headache. Just tell me what you saw.”
“Tell you what?”
“Don’t pretend with me, Paris.” Romilda extended her hand. “You have proof, don’t you?”
Paris froze. She had taken one photo, but only reflexively. It hadn’t meant anything at the time.
But lying to Romilda was pointless.
Paris walked to the couch, reached into her bag, and pulled out her phone. She tossed it onto Romilda’s lap.
“See for yourself,” Paris muttered.
Romilda picked up the phone and unlocked the screen. The gallery opened, revealing a candid photo taken from a distance, partially obscured by decorative plants, but the subjects were clear.
