Valdemar The Arcana Novels & Stories

"As much as I'd love to stay with you.... I think Demetre and I have a lot to talk about and smooth over even before we arrive at Valeria." "Besides," Demetre threw in as his muscles relaxed at smy affirmation, "We can't risk your exposure." "And why is that?" I asked, Alex also shifting his attention fully onto Demetre. Demetre nodded at Zach and then locked his gaze with mine, "He's the great Merlin. Everyone assumes that he is dead.... after the prophecy was said, any suspicions they have will be confirmed that Merlin is back and you're the girl that brought him back." "I'm well aware of that," Zach replied, and continued, "I was merely checking to make sure Arianna and you will be cordia

Chapter 1: The Summoning Price Candles flickered wildly in the ancient stone chamber hidden beneath the crumbling ruins of Eldrath, their flames dancing as if alive with the forbidden magic I had unleashed. My heart hammered against my ribs as I traced the final line of the intricate summoning circle with my own blood, the metallic scent mixing with the musty air of forgotten tomes and decaying tapestries. I was Seraphina Vale, a twenty-five-year-old arcane scholar who had dedicated her life to dusty scrolls and protective wards rather than the desires that stirred in my treacherous body. My form had always been a curse and a secret longing—lush, heavy breasts that strained against the laces

--- She awoke on the chamber floor, heart hammering. Lena was at her side. “You were gone for hours.” “I saw… the birth of the Flame,” Aria whispered. “They didn’t discover it. They wounded something ancient to create it.” Tarek stepped into the chamber, pale. “Then we need to talk about this.” He unfurled a scroll, ancient and yellowed. “I found it hidden in the archives below the Crescent sanctum. Virela left it behind.” It showed a crude map—Velmora at its center, surrounded by symbols of the five sacred oaths made during the Age of Founding. But now, three of the symbols had been scratched through. The last two glowed faintly.

The first one to appear spoke. "Sister!" The other exclaimed to warn her. "And this next to me is called Dinel. We directly serve the demon king and his queen. We also act as the ear and eyes of the palace." She said as Dinel grabbed her wrist. When Arch looked at her, she shook her head. "I understand you are trying to protect your sister and that you don't trust me, but I give you my word as a warrior, I will never forget your kindness. Also, my name is Victor." I introduced myself.

Winter speaks this time, eyes keen on Kitra, almost with aversion. “The Demons have their unrivaled Guardian, an exceptional high-tier warrior glorified with the esteemed responsibility of eliminating special Omegas like you are”. I receive a blow, right through my chest as I catch my breath painfully and break into coughs. “Himari!” I feel Welma and the blonde woman come to my aid as a hand rubs my back while they help me sit upright and bring a glass of water to my lips.

She had a cloak on and the hood was taken off as soon as she came in. Her eyes darted towards Leon. She blushed and looked away before taking her seat. Leon cleared his throat and started speaking. "We have called you here for a reason. We found my wife. Your duty as the person standing in her place as come to an end," The smile faded from her face. "So what happens now?" Delilah turned to her. "The elixir will wear off once I touch you and you can go freely." "Don't!" Petra screamed and flew out of her seat. Lucian was right in time to catch her. She struggled against him but he subdued her and pushed her to her knees.

Thamer closes his eyes and gathered all his energy and called the six demons inside him to wake up and let him transform until a cloud of smoke begun to appear and in one moment a demon from twenty years ago came back. He saw their opponents and as he started to blurt out the flames coming from his mouth, some of them turned to ashes. Lancelot and Damian, we're on their way to the location but they had no idea that Ramses was following them. They saw from afar that the place was burning. They saw a brood of vampires approaching and they thought that they will hurt them but they feel relieved when all of them went straight to the location. Martha, Drake, Dave, and Diana find a place to hide.

Vaelgor immediately stepped behind me, while Damian moved to my side despite the danger. “You are not taking her,” Damian said. Alaric laughed. “You still think this is about taking her.” He looked at me with an expression that made my stomach twist. “I came because she is finally strong enough to open the door.” “What door?” I asked. Alaric pointed toward the broken seal. “The door beneath the mountain.” The Devourer suddenly screamed. Its chains began breaking one by one as dark energy exploded around it. Vaelgor swung his sword toward the creature, but Alaric raised one hand and stopped the blade in midair.

The Welkin Academy’s headmaster stepped forward and said, “Tell us what you know, James. Justice and truth will prevail in the end.” “Understood, Headmaster.” James continued, “Lucifer Menachem is the only blood kin of the Demon Emperor in ancient times. During that battle long ago, he foresaw his own death. So, he sealed away his descendant in Mount Walvern. Mount Walvern has always reeked of Demonic Energy. Anyone who has been there before knows of this. The Demon Race’s Protector said that he learned an ancient arcane art, but he required the blood of many distinguished cultivators to undo the seal left behind by the Demon Emperor.

The cosmic threat they faced pushed them to their limits, demanding that they become stronger, more resilient, and more adaptable. Valen delved even deeper into the intricacies of arcane magic. He not only mastered a wider array of spells but also developed his own unique incantations. His control over the arcane became so precise that he could weave spells with minimal effort, conserving his energy for the most challenging battles. Valen's growth in power was both awe-inspiring and unsettling, as he danced on the precipice of
