When Lina Vale Became Elena Valenti Again

When Lina Vale Became Elena Valenti Again

She no longer exists. Under the last line was a name he had never seen me write. [Elena Valenti] For a moment, Julian didn’t understand. Then the name hit him like a fist. Valenti. Anyone in New York knew the name. Old money whispered it. Politicians feared it. Cops pretended not to see it. It belonged to armored gates, private docks, and men who smiled before pulling the trigger. He sank into a chair, his face draining of color. He called my old number.

Love A Lie : The Billionaires Betrayal

Love A Lie : The Billionaires Betrayal

Both of them looked young and yeah they spoke money in their outfits. "Good afternoon, Ms. Witnick," Mel greeted the woman dressed in a peach-colored dress. I could smell the expensive perfume from where I stood "Good afternoon, you must be Valerie. It's finally great to meet you. Ms. Williams talked about you a lot," her voice was nice but she was misunderstood between me and Mel. "No, you are getting it all wrong," Mel replied quickly. "I’m her secretary, Melanie, this is Miss Valerie," she introduced me stepping sideways as I came forward. She stared at me openly and I turned towards Melanie asking her through my eye gestures that was there something on my face.

VALENTINE'S DAY

VALENTINE'S DAY

"I never liked the fact that Valentina would die at the ending, you would never reach best seller with that mentality." I was never trying to be best seller anyways, but since she approves of this ending, I know that the book is done. I will miss talking to Ethan, and also my number one fan, Valentina, even as she died she called my book, beautiful and a masterpiece. It was different from the way the toxic web readers did. But how did the book end again... "You're going to get late for your interview." Melissa yelled at Valentina, just because Valentina was trying to apply her job application at one of the biggest hotels in the country, she stayed over at Melissa's place. "You haven't even h

Signed into his trap

Signed into his trap

The fire cast soft shadows across the room. For once, he wasn't surrounded by folders. Not holding meetings. Not taking calls. Just sitting. Working quietly. He glanced up when she entered. Their eyes met briefly. Then he returned to the screen. No greeting. No conversation. Which suited Valeria perfectly. At least for the first twenty minutes. She selected a book. Settled into a chair. Attempted to read. Failed completely. The same paragraph stared back at her repeatedly. Her concentration was gone. Eventually, she closed the book.

But her body leaned just enough into mine to betray her. Valerie Beaumont, defiant, sharp-tongued, fire-in-her-blood Valerie, was hurting more than she wanted to admit. And whatever she was keeping from me, it was eating at her like poison beneath her skin. And I knew that it was only a matter of time before she allowed herself to weaken.

Mrs. Martinelli The Perfect Mafia Wife

Mrs. Martinelli The Perfect Mafia Wife

I had been staring at the ceiling for the past hour, waiting. Alert and prepared for anyone that would barge through that door, I set my elbows against my bent knees. One by one, the locks clang open, and my expected visitor slipped quietly inside my cell. Berenice. She was even more stunning in person—Martinelli blood is definitely coursing through her veins. A soft shade of red tainted her cheeks, her pearl white teeth clamped down on her bottom lip. She’s about my height, dressed in all black attire, wavy dark hair pulled up in a high ponytail, and I must say, I love her ankle boots.

I thouroughly enjoyed the book. It exceeded my expectations. I love all the 3 books but this story is by far the best. Klaus and Rylee are such a great pair - a mafia man and an assassin- what a badass story. Laughed and cried and enjoyed the sexcapades. ......

Another great book by this author. I enjoyed reading the first two books (Devin and Ethan). Loved this story with Klaus and Rylee. Had my heart beating so quickly at times. Felt their heartache when they had trouble getting pregnant, and was glad they were finally blessed.
