The Luna's Prey

The Luna's Prey

It was as if she could read my feelings. “Mommy needs to attend to something very urgent, Iris. Stay here. There is a new bedtime story that I will tell you when I come back. It’s about hybrids, sweetheart. You will like it, especially the main character. His name is Valerian Willers. He is Mommy’s best friend. And he’s a good man.” “Will you be okay out there, Mommy?” “Of course.” “Then I will wait for you here. I want to hear Valerian’s story.”

Silver Moon Rising

Silver Moon Rising

"The prophecy was wrong. No alpha fell. You both survived." "Maybe the prophecy referred to Thaltos," said Kade. "He was the fallen alpha. The one who rose was…" He trailed off. Looked toward Damien. Damien's eyes still held traces of silver. The dormant lunar blood had awakened. He wasn't fully lunar like me or Elena. But he was no longer an ordinary wolf either. "The prophecy said one would fall and one would rise," I said slowly. "Thaltos fell. And Damien rose into something new. Something has changed."

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

"It's about choosing what comes in, and what stays." --- 10:58 PM — Sector Q, Dewfell Rise (Return) They came back at day's end, up the hill where they'd started. Elira gazed over the valley aglow in dusk-light. Vines glimmered in their own sort of light—silvered dew in the lantern haze of settlement below. She pulled her notebook out once more. > Some rises bring us back to starting. But they bear more than mere footfall. They bear the burden of having passed through.

He drags Lyria down the side hallway toward the private quarters, her soaked dress trailing puddles across the floor. The second they disappear, my mother nudges my dad’s arm. “I had that completely under control, Marcus,” she says, smoothing down her velvet gown. Married To My Best Friend; Her Blood, My Passion

POV: Evans Wilson The weight of the secrets I carried was finally starting to crush my bones. Every step I took toward Valarie’s penthouse felt like walking deeper into a swamp. I was drowning, and the worst part was that I was dragging Hailey down with me while telling her I was saving her.

Forever Bound

Forever Bound

“What’s going on? Why are you doing this?” Valle didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he gestured to the corner of the room. Alexa’s heart sank when she saw Rahilla, tied to a small post. The baby whimpered, her tiny hands trembling. “Let her go!” Alexa shouted, struggling against the ropes that held her. “She’s just a baby, Valle. She’s innocent!” Valle chuckled darkly. “Innocent?” he sneered. “That child is far from innocent. She’s the key to everything. Her bloodline is a curse, and ending her life is the only way to break it.”

she knew eyes were on her but didn't care one beat, Eleanor always hated being around people, especially ones she saw a below her in terms of financial status Eleanor Walsh crossed her legs and tapped her manicured fingers against the armrest of the chair she sat in. The airport lounge was supposed to be relatively empty at this hour, hence the reason why she had come all this way , she was expecting something different save for a few passengers either waiting for a flight or, like her, waiting for someone to arrive. She didn't like the fact that it wasn't empty

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

On the other side of the camp, Chantelle suddenly exclaimed, "Everyone, pull yourself together! Look, it's sunrise!" The sun rose from the east, casting a golden blaze across the valley and washing away the last traces of darkness. Bathed in daylight, the valley cradled between the mountains finally revealed its true face. Andrew climbed to a platform with a good view and looked down. The Gallow's End heritage hamlet ruins were completely dilapidated. Now fully exposed under the sun, he could easily see that this place, which Buzz and his people feared so much, was actually just a small area of stone buildings.

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!
