Novel & Cerita Vali The Oath Guard

She asked. “I don’t,” I replied frustratedly. “But at least…as an inhuman, I can better defend myself.” “Well, judging by the way Daddy was raving, you don’t need to be inhuman to do that, Vali.” “What are you talking about?” I asked with confusion. “He told me about how you brutally disabled that guard the other day.” I smiled. It felt good that I had done something to make the Alpha so proud, despite the mess made from it. “I was only trying to stay alive,” I tried to make little of it.

Like a prince in this empire who is distinct from our crown prince. The young man with whom I had been dancing now kneels in front of me and kisses the back of my hands as the music stops. "Well, I guess you leave me no option," he says as he pauses. My eyes enlarge. As I need to carry out my plans, I don't want to be the center of attention right now, but it appears that things are about to change. The young guy I know as Valen appears to swear an oath to a woman, causing the onlookers to gasp, some of whom widen their eyes, while others simply don't care. Nevertheless, I do...

‘’I don’t care.’’ I flipped my long wavy chocolate brown hair as I raised my brows while looking at Ismael as he tried to explain how their group is growing now. I know that he is fully aware that he can’t force me to do the things that I am not interested with. He is convincing me to join their group. It’s a group of strong werewolves that dreaming to join the mercenary that serves Alpha pack in the battles, of course my father won’t allow that. I am persistent to say no to him because I am not really into these stuffs. Yes, I admit that I always get involve in troubles but I don’t want to worsen my father’s stress and frustration about me and his work being the Alpha’s right hand.

Every time Nikolai struck, I controlled the energy. Every time I created a barrier, Nikolai strengthened it. The Valens began losing ground. Then their leader appeared. Lord Valen walked through the fighting without a single warrior attempting to stop him. He looked toward us. “First Guardian.” His eyes shifted toward me. “Second Guardian.” Nikolai raised his weapon. “You came for Aurora.” Lord Valen smiled. “We came for what belongs to the future.” “She belongs to herself,” I replied. “Perhaps.” His expression became colder.

We both looked down over the stone balustrade. In the center of the grand courtyard stood Valen, now twenty-three years old and a true force of nature. He possessed his father’s massive, broad-shouldered frame, his dark hair tied back with a strip of leather as he sparred against four senior commanders of the Sovereign Guard simultaneously. The faint indigo runes along his forearms flushed bright with every strike, his footwork grounded, precise, and completely unyielding.

As I did the first time I ever stepped onto the court, I lifted my hand up to cover my eyes; I let it down slowly. I took in a big whiff of the surrounding air as I prepared myself for the oncoming chaos. All the guards saluted and greeted Val, “Omnes Ave Dominus Valkon.” The kids also bowed. (The greeting was in Latin. English translation is: All Hail to the Lord Valkon) “Point him out,” Val commanded, ignoring his soldiers. They weren’t allowed to quit saluting until he greeted or saluted them back. I bet their arms would get tired.

It was an awful feeling. I could barely speak without gritting my teeth. "Stop messing with me… I'm just a security guard. If my superior finds out, I could lose my job." Ms. Bombshell chuckled. She wrapped her hand around my manhood through my pants, gently squeezing it. "Think about it, Mr. Ziegler. Do you want me to give you a hand, or would you rather keep your boring job?" Her hand was small, but her grip was frightening. I found myself slowly melting away in her grasp.

Through Liam's account, Killian finally learned everything that had happened after he left that day. He had left his most elite warriors. But not long after, Valerie appeared bearing his wolf fang, a token still radiating his Alpha scent, and ordered the main force to withdraw. Only my personal guard, warriors loyal to my family, refused the order. Valerie's word was the Alpha's, especially since she held his personal token. So all the warriors had to obey. Except for my family's warriors.

“What are you doing?” Valeria’s eyes aflame with reverence as they bore into hers, a voice of steel and confidence as she spoke the warrior’s oath. “I, Valeria Lawson, Captain to the Royal Guard, do solemnly swear my true and unwavering loyalty to Bellatrix Sinclair. I pledge to serve you faithfully, with all my strength and skill, to uphold your honour. I vow to obey your commands, to protect you with my life and places yours above my own. I shall stand by your side in peace and war, I devote myself to.”

"That's enough for me." Lysander puffed up like a proud peacock. "See? Your dad gets it." "He said you'd die," I pointed out. "Yeah, protecting you. That means dying a happy man." "You’re never going to stop being so cheesy, are you?" Alerion stepped forward, the aura of being the leader dripping off him. "What are the security protocols for the ceremony?" "I'll need to brief all of you separately. There are some things about Valeria's role that only her guards can know."
