Romans & histoires God Of War Council Of Valkyries

Xander took a seat at the table, nodded to let Kord know he was listening. Taryk and I took our seats as well. "Recording," Atlas said. Lukas' eyes crinkled at the corners as he watched my brother. A goofy looking smile flirted with his mouth. "Valkyrie began as death maidens in service to an ancient Earth religion system's god. They were the ones to travel a battlefield and select which ones got to go to Valhalla. Essentially a party palace where they get to fight, drink, and gorge themselves until the god's doomsday appears. Then they're expected to help fight with the god to destroy the bad guys."

She folds her hands in front of her chest, then cups them before her mouth and blows. We don’t see anything—but we feel it. Grief still lingers, but the wild sobbing eases. Everyone can breathe. Think. Function. Mom, Dev, Arya, and Gondul move to join the gods. They wave me over as I approach. “I say we send ten fighters with the bodies and the grieving back to camp,” Mom says. “They can break it down. The rest of us go into Valhalla.” “Valkyries and I go first. We know the terrain,” Thor adds.

"Partly. But mostly, it’s about you." My stomach tightened. "Shit. I knew it, I just didn't want to accept it." She smiled, then took a slow sip of her tea before setting the cup down carefully. "Tell me, Kayla… have you ever heard of the Valkyries?" I blinked at the sudden shift. "...The warrior women from legends?" Lady Elizabeth leaned forward slightly. "They were not just legends. Once, they were rulers. Protectors. Gods in their own right. They wielded power that few could match, leading armies, shaping kingdoms, and striking fear into those who dared to oppose them."

"She's right it takes a lot to be a warrior of the council." Lord Kowell said, looking Jordan right in the eye, "But in your case we'll make an exception." Lord Kowell proceeded walking, and Jordan walked with him. "You'll be deemed worthy to join the council Jordan….if you can kill Valerie Ellsworth…we've heard she's quite powerful and the two council's see her as a threat to our common goal." Lord Kowell said confidently.

He strode to the holographic display, bringing up the complex, multi-layered schematics for Alcatraz that Valerius had just delivered. "Katherine," he said, his voice locking with hers, a silent communication passing between them. "I need you to get me temporary, high-level Fenrir Council IFF codes for the Valkyrie fleet. When we make our move, I want our drones to appear on their tactical sensors as friendly assets, as part of their own patrol." A flicker of understanding, of cold, predatory genius, lit up Katherine's eyes. It was a brilliant, audacious Trojan Horse strategy.

He was aware of that. The God of War once made that oath to everyone from the five strongest nations. However, the foreign mercenaries simply served as ordinary soldiers in the war. He did not expect someone superior like the God of War to take notice of them. Yet today, these mercenaries offended the God of War. Kaze said indifferently, “What are you waiting for? Slit your throat.” “Wham!” Moments later, the foreign mercenary collapsed to the ground, his hand gripping a blood-stained dagger. His face bore his reluctance to depart from the world.

The glyphs etched into the air behind him pulsed once more, and a single word echoed from his lips—calm, clear, final. “Arise.” A thunderous pulse rippled across the land. Far beyond them, armies stirred. Forgotten beasts took wing. Ancient clans shifte d. And for the first time in a thousand years, the divine command of Valarieth had returned.

The woman stood forward proudly. "This is Sonja. She is the oldest member of my elite Valkyrie. A group of highly trained women who serve directly beneath me. She was the one who made me realize that to win this war, I will need women like you to fight for me." Sonja looked straight ahead of her. She knew I would use her story to move the masses.

I let go of the hug, and Nick looked reluctant to let me go. "You may have heard of the name in Norse mythology; Valkyries are war goddesses. There are only 16 Valkyries in the world, and Alice is one of them." I still didn't understand. "So, she's a... goddess?" Nick chuckled softly and shook his head, "That's just a human assumption. Like vampires and Volders, they're just myths." "I don't understand."
