“And do you, Ayda, love me more than anything in this world, just as I love you?”
“Yes, Dimitri, I do,” I say, smiling back at him.
He slices his hand again, letting more blood drip into the cup, his eyes never leaving mine.
“Drink.”
I do, holding his gaze over the rim of the cup before handing it back to Sergi. Dimitri holds out his hand and I place mine in his, palm up.
He finally looks away as he slices my palm, turning my hand so it drips into the cup. When he’s done, he takes my hand and pulls it to his mouth, licking my wound closed and growling softly, sending heat straight to my core.
