Chosen by fate; second chance mates

Chosen by fate; second chance mates

Wrapped in a warm cloak, she slipped out of her room and made her way through the dimly lit corridors of the pack house. The night air was cool and crisp as Amanda approached the lake. The moonlight painted silver ripples on the water's surface, and the echoes of the past seemed to whisper in the gentle breeze. Her heart pounded with a mix of trepidation and excitement as she stood at the water's edge.

The Lady And The Billionaire Scoundrel

The Lady And The Billionaire Scoundrel

What was your inspiration to write The Lady and the Scoundrel? I am a writer and full-time editor for many different projects, including a short story magazine. I wanted to write a contemporary romance inspired by my favorite romance novels as an exercise in discipline, to see if I could take on longer writing projects. There are several winks to what once was one of my favorite romance novels sprinkled throughout the story, so you can say it’s very loosely inspired by that one. If any of you figure out which one it is, let me know in the comments! While the historical setting, characters, and plot are completely different, it draws on the famous concept of the strong female lead that has

Ack, this is indeed a hidden gem. The narration is so good and the events that happened were so fast that I did not hesitate to scroll to the next chapter. Three men around Charlotte having different stories are more than interesting. Plus, it's of great mystery of whom she will end up with. Awesome

This is one of the few novels I have read that does not have the main character being slapped in the face for no reason, and everyone ending up going to the hospital for frivolous reasons. I'm enjoying this so far and really like Charlotte and Logan's chances.

Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason; Right One

Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason; Right One

He suddenly had the oddest notion why she was there. “Up at the cabin…my wife had a few odd moments. Her name is Jazz…same as…” Jack watched the sudden tears streaming down her face. “There was a dog…Bruno…” he watched the tears streaming but the girl looked straight into his face. “The man with the monster truck and flicking knife…they chased us. Jazz just start to run straight into the lake.” He looked at her, the girl attentive. “I am a bit disoriented but she said there were bones in the water. Just not sure where now. This lake is large. We run from the cabin straight for the tree lines. Once the dogs chased us, turned right the lake within view. We jumped over the edge.”

I'm Ready To Take It All

I'm Ready To Take It All

Author's point of view... A beautiful princess of the Monster Land, Maria, sat at the edge of a dark, bubbling lake of blood, her attention lazily drifting between the glowing screen of her tabloid and the silent, spooky landscape surrounding her. And of course, it wasn't pleasant to the eye. One can literally pass out just by seeing it. The lake reflected the night sky, stained red as though it held the glow of a thousand sunsets captured beneath its surface. Beside her, a group of little servant elves stood at attention, their wide eyes following every flick of her finger on the screen, ready with suggestions and insights as she considered the soul-host options for her test.

Mated to the Alpha Don

Mated to the Alpha Don

Or maybe, she just could not bear to end her sister and would rather end herself in the process. Sarah's screams echoed through the chamber, but were soon drowned out by the intensity of the bright light. It crackled and sizzled like a raging wildfire, growing louder and more intense with each passing moment. The air was filled with a sharp, metallic tang that burned my nostrils as the light grew brighter, like the scent of lightning just before it strikes. It was almost suffocating, overwhelming, like walking into an electrical storm. This was the power of the lady of the lake. The power that Avalon had bestowed on Syra and that Sarah coveted.

The Lady Under The Mask

The Lady Under The Mask

Astrid This person looked a lot like Damon!? “Damon!” I called out but he shook his head negatively. “I am not Damon, I am Ace, a new employee looking forward to working with you” I smiled as I walked out of the place. Arriving at the restaurant for he reserved a lady walked up to me and asked “Are you Miss Eleanor?” I nodded with a smile on my face and she led me to meet Calvin. “You are here already? In Bed With My Possessive Alpha King (+18)

In Bed With My Possessive Alpha King (+18)

Elena gripped her necklace, about to put it back around her neck, but in her haste, it slipped from her hand and fell straight into the lake beneath the apple tree branch where she was sitting. “OH NO!” Panicking and without thinking, Elena jumped into the lake. She wasn’t afraid of the Black Lake at all. It wasn’t called the Black Lake without reason—it was because the lake was so deep that it appeared black. “My necklace…” Elena stretched out her hand to grab her red ruby necklace. At the same time, Lucien watched everything. He was already standing at the edge of the lake near the large apple tree, his hands behind his back, his blue eyes fixed sharply on the water.

The water on the lake was like glass. Elina had never been on it, or even on the dock around it. She found it was peaceful and gorgeous. The Blood Rose Lady

The Blood Rose Lady

“How could Romaine do this?” Sadness turned to anger. Her fists turned to fire. Tears turned to the thunderstorm that is now echoing in the dark night skies. “I will kill you, Mary Bathory.” It was a promise, to the night. To the winds. To herself. “I WILL KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU’VE DONE!” Romaine is not Romaine Eastwood. The real Romaine has been below the ground for ages. Isla Ivane was right. The Blood Mistress is the one whose hair is the color of autumn and she sees the world through color brown—through russet eyes.
